HI!
As a newby that's getting along
OK I still have some questions about procedures! When I receive all these glass and plastic bottles, Syringes, and Pipettes for mixing and storing; What are others doing about insuring they're clean and sterile??? I don't want to do anything unsafe, but also don't want to spend any unnecessary effort!
Appreciate Any Response!!

I've found my glass and plastic bottles generally don't need washing when I get them. After I've used anything I dump it in a bowl of very hot water with dish detergent and soak for a few minutes - then rinse well.

Thanks for the Response!

I would consider using them actually , but thats just me , sounds like they would be useful for DIY juice making (kidding) No need to wash , maybe a quick rinse.

I wash the bottles but not the syringes or pipettes.
Whatever you are comfortable with.
If it is not for resell then go for it.

Pipette and syringes should be sterile, though wouldn't hurt to run the glass bottles thru the dishwasher.

Personally don't use plastic bottles. I noticed one juice distinctly tasted of plasticizer after ~3 weeks -- and trashed 'em all. That said, there are big differences in materials used for plastic bottles.

Good luck and enjoy!

Actually I rinse them then boil them for 5 minutes (my mother is really into canning food and that's the procedure for canning food)
