Wicks burn on Magma

Anyone else have a hard time with the Magma at higher wattage? Seems that I can't run it over 27 watts without drying out the wick way too fast. Lately, the wicks look fully saturated and I still get a burnt taste.

I'm running 27g dual coils, 8 wraps at about .7 ohms, and wicking with rayon.

I'm also using a Vapetasia DT, so maybe too much airflow?

I try to keep my coil just above the deck, and don't put to much wick though the coil. rayon or cotton wicks faster when it's not strangled.

I'm definitely not putting too much wick in. It moves fairly easily when I take them out.

I do have my coils pretty high trying to get more TH. I'll lower then and see. Thanks for the tip!

Only tried that low once and never again lol, i keep my coils at around 1.5 now and don't go over 20 watts and it's perfect for me.

Lowered the coils and pushed it to 30 watts. Brilliant! Thanks!
