Nichrome is worth trying out. It's lower resistance than kanthal and I find I get a really clean vape off of what I've tried. I only have 22g currently so I had to build a 10 wrap coil to get it to fire on my regulated mod at .3 ohms you get lots of surface area and it heats up super fast.

I've heard ribbon wire is a cast iron bitch to work with, but that it is pretty good to use.

G-plat is just welding wire. And overpriced as fuck.

NiChrome and Kanthal are the only wires worth your time on a mech. Nickle becomes an option on temp-controled mods.

ribbon wire is a head ache to work with. Never again will I work with it, and plus, from my experience, it heats up SUPER FAST, which I, myself, like to avoid.
