    Hi guys,

Anyone can recommend a build for clouds using a bonza or drop rda? Mod will be hexohms v3.

How many wraps would be needed for this? Would probably be using a n80 fused clapton (28gax3 36ga) or will be using 22ga.

Be good to hear some recommendations...

(Don’t have the mod with me at the moment, just wondering what builds to make when i do get my hands on it, should arrive in 2 weeks)

    Welcome to VU.
What batteries are you using in that Hexohm?

22 Gauge NI80 shoudln't be difficult to get a solid cloud build with good batteries in a series mod. If you do a dual coil 22G at 5 wraps each coil on 4mm inside diameter you should land about .3 Ohms which is safe for most batteries (assuming current production, high drain, high amp batteries) in a series mod.

This is one of my favorite cloud chasing configurations in a series mod. Simple to build, creates an atmosphere of clouds and isn't too hot when vaping. Will also parallel wrap the 22G NI80 with a 26G Kanthal to retard the ramp a little and add a little more resistance if it is too hot.

    Thanks Jwill,

Using Sony VTC 5A, as i heard that this is the recommended battery on mooch’s battery chart. Spare’s will be Samsung 25r (I think thats right) when i say spare it’ will be in my case as i’m sometimes working 24hours...

Right now I’m using the pulse squonk, and i’ve got a decent cloud with it (using the bonza) using 22ga with 7/8 wraps and getting about 0.18 ohms i think. Dual coil

I heard that HexOhms recommend builds at 0.2 ohms, my wraps have been under that criteria.. i’ll give it a shot when i the hex arrives along with the drop.

    Thanks buddy, appreciate it

You will likely want to get that series mod up over .2 ohms unless you like a really hot vape. That thing is going to ramp like a mad beast on NI80 and a those batteries. If memory serves, Hexohm recommends .2 as the lowest safe build for the mod.

Yes i read that as well from craving vapor site and here in VU threads.. but will if i was to build a .2 will it give me the cloud as if i was doing a .1 something build? I guess it wont right, but i guess saftey comes first, i dont want to that dick that ruins it for vapers out there and putting a bad image for the rest because i was stupid trying to do something thats not recommended and on the news for negative vaping shit.

There was an article i read where a local celebrity ( indonesian) was caught vaping in the toilet on an airplane, that there just proves what a dick he was and putting us in a negative shit.

I need my vape to stay off the cigs.. been working great...

I don't really vape for big clouds but if you do the Hex v3 will do the job,
My builds stay around .3 --.4 , somewhere in there and depending on where I set my pot depends on how much I need per build.
BTW you can ( but I wouldn't recommend ) building below .2 but you will have to have your pot set to like 50% -75%,,, it won't fire if your at 100%.
Love my Hex's,, good choice man.

How many wraps did you do and what Ga wires were used for your builds?

I’ll try both yours and Jwill’s out, like i said i’m open to recommendation from other people.

Thanks about the heads up regarding the pot.

It will be my first hex, and the way i have been reading the reviews about it, I couldn’t put it off any longer...

I wont get till June though as i got deliverd to a us adress, and i’ living in Indonesia, the price for the Hex over here is like $340...
