Yeah I saw the Canada place but that shipping is outrageousIf nobody has one, there is a place in Canada that has the sxk ones, shipping is crazy high though, makes the switch like $30 or so after shipping.Another option, that was found by someone a while back is these flat membrane switches, they are dirt cheap and come from China, but the guy that used it said they work perfectly.
I cant get the link to work,so just search
1 pcs Mini Innovative Single Key Membrane Switch Keyboard MCU Extended Keypad
On Ebay and it should bring them up.
I begged SXK to sell me some, but I never could get them pinned down.Yeah I saw the Canada place but that shipping is outrageous
Damn!I begged SXK to sell me some, but I never could them pinned down.
There are a couple other "acquaintances" I have made over there. Shenzen has a completely different business model than we do. You may not necessarily have to work for SXK in order to get your hands on their parts. I should have thought of this before. I sent messages to a couple people asking if they maybe could dig some up. Worth a shot.Damn!
Smart idea may try to reach out to a few people really don't wanna pay $30 for this little buttonThere are a couple other "acquaintances" I have made over there. This one young lady you'd never know she was Chinese messaging back and forth. Her English is excellent. She tells me she can't speak it that well though haha!
Yeah he said he had to look for them and has not messaged me back sinceI never heard back from this fella either after the dm.
The little circle in the center. The thin metal circle that makes the connection when pressed. That's missing in the one I have.is that the piece that makes the connection ?
There are tons of brass, titanium, and SS buttons out there,no issues.my point, would a metal button work ? but, now that i think about it, idk if a metal button touching the mod body would cause issues ? maybe the coating would prevent that ?

Ah ok,i didn't even think of the switch part being metal, which makes sense then,i always wondered why they put the switch on that yellow backer,so thats probably why,hey i learned something new today haha.i'm talking about the button itself closing the circuit.
I have numerous switches, including a BBV authentic. What I don't have is a way to do the micro soldering. The SXK switch, which I can't get, has standard insulated metal wires, which I would be able to splice into the existing wires. I got this one from BBV directly. I can't solder that.Actually, looking at the listed dimensions and voltages, that one linked above may be spot on for what you need.
