word, a lot of truth to those statements. I should study this more...I have a masters in Psychology but never really looked into addiction much.

Oh, I've had a ringside seat and even been the main attraction a few times, in the addiction/alcoholism games. :D Really glad I survived it with pretty much most of my marbles intact. Most. Pretty much. :D Yet it continues to fascinate me, it's such a reversal of the survival instinct.... perhaps it shows that some prefer emotional survival to physical? Had a shrink once who told me absolutely not to stop drinking, if it kept me from killing myself. At the time, it was good advice, but later... it was the alcohol itself that was killing me, so I had to make a choice... I had a 4 yr old son.

Ride hard, shoot straight, and tell the truth has worked good for me growing up..got in a little trouble flirting with girls with their jealous boyfriends now and again.. But as an adult I've been thankful mostly for parents teaching us kids good Christian values that has kept me out of trouble..I mean I am no angel but at the same time I always know right from wrong..and keeping ny self respect has always gained respect from others, plus I liked how that made me feel about myself when I look in the mirror...life's been good to me, so far.. Lol

But it's really not true, about nicotine. *cigarette smoking* is the most addictive thing in the world, but once you remove all that other crap in burning tobacco, and even the burning, it's really not very addictive,. I went from 10mg to 4.75mg in about 8 months, and really didn't even notice -- I vaped the same quantity. It's the MAOIs, and the RAPID uptake of the nicotine and MAOIs to the brain, that causes such horrible addiction, not the nicotine by itself.

The physical act of "smoking" is often overlooked when discussing the addiction to "nicotine". Oral fixation, something to fill the time, all that jazz. It's why carrying a toothpick in your mouth is a common thing for former smokers and sunflower seeds. Then there's the social aspect, awkward situation and you go smoke, just so many side things to that whole cigarette thing that are overlooked. I fully believe it isn't as much nicotine as all the other aspects combined. You just have a plethora of addictive behaviors thrown into one thing.

This.
Subconscious preoccupational associated situational hand actions, from years of the hand to mouth routine, during idle mind engagement times.

Yeah, that'll suck. Always, honey, you need to draw a map of where you hide them. OR take pictures!! That'll be fun. Just make sure your write down how many you hide.
Oh my god rotten eggs would definitely suck. Can I hide them now? Will they stink in the morning? I should probably stay up instead
