Got stew going.
Have not made a soup or stew in a almost 2 months since my surgery.

Found an amazing cut of meat discounted from 14 bucks to 8... looked fatty as fuck but was nicely marbled and way more tender meat than fat.
Got parsnip and turnips going in the broth, missing bones for this one so it is just a basic stew.

Funny it had this thick fat pad vein in it on the top of the package. it was 1/4" deep. Pulled right out, they said for pot roast but whoever the cutter is, is sloppy as hell.

One of my chief complaints here...well...top two
They overcook EVERYTHING to ensure we never good food....I mean...food poisoning.
The choice of meats, cuts of meat and meat prep appear to be done by angry hungry rabid raccoons

We're moving to Colorado; the real estate market is dwindling in affordable housing... even pre-qualified, we've been outbid by a certain type of 'Baron' on three homes, and our house sale here on the East Coast closes at the end of April.

Even with a WHOPPING down payment, we're stressed because it takes 6-8 weeks for a home purchase to close.

Our faith sustains us, but the US of A is changed, since my youth. Yes, stress is our problem... but, a Bigger Hand is in control of our situation, so we're just searching as best as we can... Buona Pasquale :)

Hmmm... not always breaking points. My husband isn't fat (well, not VERY fat... little bit of belly), but his beard is white, he's losing his hair, and he's an asshole more than he's not... but I wouldn't trade him for a million bucks. Maybe for a billion... ;)

It CAN take that long, or even longer.... but with the right broker, we closed our VA mortgage in 26 days. My mother almost fell over; all their previous mortgages took about 3 months to close. :D

Hmm was in the bottom round section of the grocery but is USDA prime chuck... meats is meats and for stew it is a ok.

I would have beef mush.
This shit is UBER tender. Just rendered down some of the trimmings and got a small batch of cubes floured up making happy sounds.
I take them to just seared and allow the flour and beef to cook in the stew the rest of the way.

A good sense of humor covers a wide variety of flaws, I've always thought (which is probably the only reason I ever went out on a 2nd date with my first husband!).... You seem to have that aspect covered... ;)
