I really liked Marco Polo. Planet Earth type stuff is always good to nap to on a day off. Trying to think of what's on Netflix and not Couchtuner, hard to keep it all strait so apologies if some of these are not on Netflix. Luther is pretty good and that Sherlock series, but they are more like movies than tv show episodes (over an hour long each).. If you liked Arrow check out Gotham, the Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. Daredevil and Jessica Jones are on Netflix for sure.

Being over 50 comes with some perks - Dish Network covers Epix, Starz, and Encore for us - in 1080i/p HD, for less than $50 a month.

The only time we lose service is during severe storms, and we've gone through a few of those (we had nearby tornados almost a month ago, and our service came back once they passed).

Even though network TV is available, we only watch sports, and things like that - because Liz and I have our own perception of things, and many of the modern TV shows are just a part of the spin cycle of times present - which, aside from the Web and fora like this one - we just don't fit into that.

Many of today's kind of... diversions... don't apply to us, aside from vaping.

We're from a different time, when things were "simple" compared to now - and even though I'm computer-literate, and keep up with current technology -

Liz and I still miss the days of having one landline telephone number, no voicemail or even answering machines... no pagers, et al. It was a time of freedom.

You could choose whether or not you answered the phone (when we were young, phone calls were RARE after 9 PM); or, if you weren't home, calls were missed, anyway.

I guess we're boring ;).
