Good morning corner family! @Jetson , I can relate to what you're going through. I've had ringing in my ears for close to 20 years now (sounds like I just fired a gun almost). Mine reminds me of the high pitched whine you could hear from the horizontal (flyback) transformer from the old TV's back in my youth when my hearing was good. Too many years of working in machine shops and too many loud rock concerts didn't help either I suppose.

Have any of you folks heard about this new Provari released by Provape recently? Sill a bit underpowered at only 50w and only fires down to .4 ohms and is rather pricy at $215 or so..If Provape would build a 75w Provari that could fire down to .1 ohm that would run my low sub ohm builds I would buy it... Lol

"Flyback transformer" - wow, that brings me back. Yeah, sometimes the whine is constant, sometimes it pulses with each gush of blood from a heart beat, not sure which is worse. Mine also stems from a combo of old age and progressive rock, which always seem to go together now a'days. Good luck with yours, Mark.

Mine is almost always a steady ring/whine and unless I have something going to compete with the noise in my head it drives me nuts. I even sleep with a tv, radio, or something to give me some white noise.

What? What/ What/ My favorite word after working in factories all my life I can't hear anything people say. My ears are always ringing so loud all the time. Wifey knows no matter what she says she'll have to repeat it 3 or 4 times.

Hi Whiskey, thanks I do too seems like they do it every week. Most of the lab gals are pretty good at it but one couldn't even get the needle thru my skin, and when she did she kept digging around trying to find my vein. After 3 tries she went and got help.

Dude, same thing with me. The head nurse eventually came over and ripped the other nurse a new one, sent her away, then apologized for her.

Yeah there is definitely a skill, many skills, for that job. The head nurse was cool, she was like Nurse Jackie, just totally took charge, one stick, barely felt a thing. Professionalism in that area is much respected and appreciated.

It sure sux doesn't it, I got a bad infection from that day.
In our state, they are only allowed to make 2 attempts to find a vein, after that they HAVE to get someone else in there.
I saw somewhere , that they have something new...a projection imager that scans your area(arm) for veins like a black light movie screen type of thing, that assists in starting IV's or drawing blood, maybe Kimber or Bori can explain it and how it works and if it is even being used yet.

Jesus I wish they had that when I was in.
18 sticks to get an IV about to go cut down route.

Stupid bitches were digging around, and I am an easy draw.
One I looked at dead in the face and just said "if you do not get it the first time do not dig!" I just told her to leave and go back to basic skill course. The icu nurses and professional hospital vampires got it in 1.
