I use VTC4s in mine. Work great and has 30 amp rating so you can really push that RX and see what it can do.

Anyone else run the vtc 4s? 101vape has a killer deal on them at 2 for 9 bucks and I wanna grab a few for mine if anyone else has been having good results using these. Thanks for the feedback

I have a few of them I use in my Snow Wolf and they work as good as any other battery. I almost exclusively buy my batteries from Liion Wholesale but that sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

The input voltage to the chip in an rx200 averages 11.1volts. 200watts / 11.1volts = 18amps. Any quality 20amp battery will work fine. Sony vtc4's are 30amp cells and are always a solid choice. Use of an external charger is advised.

I use the VTC4's in mine. Gets me through the day just fine.
Mostly use HE2's and 25R's in my other mods.
Occasionally some HE4's and HG2's.

VTCs are one of the questionable batteries as there are a lot of fakes out there. While 101vape has been around a while and I'd like to trust them, I simply won't trust anyone but a devoted battery provider like Liionwholesale or Illumn. Sure they'll cost a couple extra dollars over that $9 (I want to say about $12-13 for a pair) it's worth it to me to know they're what they're advertised as.

Liion does provide a free battery case with each pair purchased.

Did you charge them via usb or or in a separate charger? Can you check the batts independently with a multimeter or something?

Try taking them out and putting them back in again.

I took them out and put them back in but it still said the same thing and I charge externally with an xtar

Only thing I can say is it may be a bad one if its not the batts. How long have you had the RX? Did you get it online or a shop?

Only thing I can think of is for some reason it decided it doesnt want to read the batts correctly anymore and developed a fault in the chip, but all of the sudden, after 4 months, idk.

Do the batts work ok in anything else?

Thats all I got. I assume its firmware is current? I would contact Wismec. Maybe they can help since other people have had that and its a known issue.

With the device off press and hold the fire button and the down button for 5 seconds. It will tell you the volts on each batt. What does it say?

Be careful BoomStick. I have been hearing quite a few stories about the RX200 suddenly reading the battery voltages way off and then a bit longer and then the whole RX200 bricks.

Be careful of what? Measuring batteries with a voltmeter and ensuring a ground screw is tight? What does anything I said have anything to do with what you just said? o_O

Oh sorry BoomStick, I meant Luiss_mk6. Here is what I am hearing and I compiled all of the data of users who said their RX200 stopped working. One it seems this only affects those using the older firmware, but this isn't confirmed yet. The mod sometimes seems warm, even when not using and/or it is turned off. And one battery is draining and may drain all the way down to 0v. Other symptoms may include no atomizer attached when you fire when it shouldn't, weak battery, and the battery bar showing empty batteries. So far I haven't heard of any fix. But what I would try myself is taking the firmware up to 3.0. If you are using 3.0, take it to 1.7 (1.8 might be ok too) and then back to 3.0 again.
