There's a factor that is seldom diagnosed that can trigger a DVT at any age, Liden 5 mutation, quite common, a person with it is 6-8 times more likely to clot, his symptoms are very familiar to me, just saying.
Just saying he should gosee a doctor too.
It's just that having known many doctors and having them in the family
I'm weary of them and prefer the natural approach to healthcare.
Also, I have confirmed reasons to have a firm belief in that thought directs energy
and prefer to take a positive "nothing wrong" approach than be alarmist.
But you know what the boy scouts used to say

How's your hydration, caffeine/alcohol intake, any medications taken on a regular basis? I've suffered varying degrees of dehydration and electrolyte mayhem for decades, from my personal habits and asthma medications... When I started vaping, I had to drop 80% of my caffeine intake and start drinking coconut water every day, or my legs puffed up like sausages, feet got lumpy and sore. Coconut water fixed it completely.

Andria
Mostly, just 2 cups of coffee in the morning. My alcohol intake is EXTREMELY limited (saying that I have 1 beer a week, is sometimes overstating it). I was thinking dehydration too, and started fluids as soon as I left work today. Lower legs are still warm, and sore. I'll call the Doc tomorrow, and make an appt......to see what's up. ( I should've gone today!).

My shoulder Dr. knows that I've been taking (2) Alleve in the morning, and usually (2) in the evening. He said that that is the MAX dosage. I don't think that I should have to worry about clotting.....but then....who knows?...... I don't. (Still.....Thanks for the info., Vapin;)).
I wouldn't worry about the vein thing too much unless your legs keep on hurting.
This is what happens as you age and you bust ass working..it hurts.
I was taking 2 alleve and a celebrex in the morning and an alleve in the evening
just so I could walk and do my job when I got sciatica.
Would put a bottle of frozen water down my pants on my hips too, would take several to work in a big igloo

I've since learned to manipulate my body and relieve the pressure on the nerve
and can't take aleve anyway 'cause I'm on a no sodium diet.

Dude, dehydration along with potassium loss.
That's why we push coco water, super high in potassium

Aspirin, not Aleve.
I knew that about the aspirin.....but the Doc said that I was bleeding more than normal, when he gave me the shoulder injections last Thursday. He had asked me about when, and how much Alleve that I had taken that day. When I told him (2) in the morning, he basically said....that that would be why. And yes......I did call him and let him know what is going on with my legs/feet today, and asked him if he thought that it had anything to do with the injections. He said (pretty much)....No.

They actually do. Just the other night I went looking for one of my old dial up modems
just in case I had to tell ATT where to get off and comcast took more than a few days to come gimme service.

You're lucky ATT runs to your home. I'm in Miami and had to wait years for them to
put DSLAMs in my neighborhood and they still using old copper wires.
They'll never hang fiber, they're pushing WIFI and cell service.

Hey Mark. How you doing today? Off to work yet?
Nah, I took a night off. I have to get the wife up and to the hospital in the morning. She's having another esophageal ablation done. She has Barrett's Esophagus.
I doubt anyone will ever hang fiber out here where we live. The only way we could get cable is to have 70% of the people on this road agree to come on board for a minimum 2 yr period or Charter won't even think about it. We get Uverse voice, and internet, but are too far from the closest DSLAM to get Uverse TV. I doubt they will ever upgrade further at this point since the tech said they have reached a saturation point between development and subscriptions. They have Google Fiber building in the Metro Atlanta area, but I doubt we'll ever move back that way as my wife is too attached to this area since all her family lives around here.

Yup..Serbia and the Czech Republic are good places to go get pups now...iif you're careful.
The Germans are asking too much money.

Like I said, I've seen 10 grand change hands several times (then one dog got used to smuggle drugs
and a balloon popped..ten grand wasted to bring in a couple of grand worth of drugs..

A guy I knew who did Shutzhund bred his prize winners sold the pups for five thousand each.
But I could never see spending more than 500 for a dog, that's how much Jyoti
my Bichon Frise cost.

I won't tell you what I paid for my boy....but he was worth every penny!

Good for you, rest up a bit. Especially so if you're going to deal with hospitals and doctors in the morning.
I pray yer old lady gets well.

You're likely to have cable b4 ATT ever gets around to thinking about you.
A good place to keep track of broadband deployment is dslreports.com (same as broadbandreports.com)

I wish they'd deploy Fiber in Miami, it isn't like we're a small town and there's much international biz done here.
Though really I'd prefer to live in GA, maybe not as far out as you but right on the outskirts of Atlanta.
I love GA. Walked thorugh much of it way back..from one end of Macon County to the other once..
but then that happened to me in Leesburg FL too.

We're about 40 miles West of Atlanta, and about 11 miles from Alabama . I doubt fiber would ever make it closer to us than Douglasville or Carrollton, about 30 mi and 12 mi respectively from us.

I probably should look into the coconut water......as I HATE bananas!.....the smell, the taste.....everything about them! And, I just looked @ my bottle of Men's Multi Vitamins......NO potassium in them.
right..vapers and/or anybody that sweats and pees a lot or is on diuretics wastes major amounts of potassium.
I dislike bananas also..Fried sweet plantains are ok and I like the tiny little bananas
we call "Manzanos" but it's hard to find good ones.

OJ is high in potassium but not high enough

I'm sick of the city but need access to a good library and have to be wired.

Well, dehydration can cause electrolyte mayhem, but just drinking more fluids won't fix it, if the electrolytes are scrambled; in faxct, it can make it worse, by causing over-urination. Most people nowadays have a very high-sodium diet, from all kinds of processed foods... coconut water is very high in potassium and low in sodium, which helps to bring them back to a proper balance.

Very little to NO processed foods for me. I've been dieting the past 2 years, and have lost 50 lbs. I survive mainly on nutrigrain bars and salad. NO more soda or junk food. Occasional pizza or bacon cheeseburger......on the weekends (Cause my son LOVES both).

Yeah, but caffeine in your juice? is that really safe? I am more hooked on the taste of coffee than the caffeine.
Well Jimi I didn't say I was gonna put it in my juice..at least not the juice I vape.
But I do prefer the taste of OJ to coffee.
I know one guy here @MrScaryZ who says he's vaped it and it worked
then I've read others say both that it did or didn't.
I know there is juice sold which has caffeine in it.
I don't see why it wouldn't work..I know other things/chemicals besides nicotine can be ingested through evaporation..
Probably depends on the evaporation temp of caffeine

My bad , I didn't quite get the whole drift of your post. I'd never put caffeine in my juice, just don't seem right to me.I drink my share of coffee at least 5 pots a day, love the taste.

Nope. (I use usaa for my car insurance and soon for my motorcycle insurence)

Broke the clippers out and gave me a hair cut and turned my scragly ugly mess of a beard into a nice clean goatee.
Yo Boat. They charge that much for that now?
I have the clippers..the old lady takes the boy to the barber
so I haven't a clue and she won't tell me
