I'm wanting to start making my own juice but not sure where to start or where to buy from a good reputable site. My question is does anyone know of where I can get a starter kit from a reputable site and it's very important to me that I have a good mixing calculator free app or apps. Or where or if I need a scale and where to find that? . I would appreciate any information. Thanks

If you read a little in the DIY subs (tons of valuable info here!) we're not fans of "starter kits." Grab a few syringes (or a scale), some nic, base, and flavors and let it rip! Your money will go farther buying what you need rather than junk that you don't.

Ecigexpress.com is about the cheapest use VAPINGUNDERGROUND10 for 10% off. Also if you order over 60 you get free shipping. And one of the best places for info on diy is http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create. Really anything you need to know on diy can be found on there and like 8,000 recipes that have been submitted. For a scale go check amazon or if you shop ft its also a cheap spot for one.

Don't buy large bottles of flavorings when starting out as you may not like them, stick to 15ml or less.
Once you find out what your favorites are you can then buy the larger amounts.

I got my scale from Amazon, SF-400C, cheap and decent, doesn't shut off too soon either.
(But I only use it to measure flavorings as I have no trouble using a 12ml syringe for PG, VG, and a 1ml syringe for NIC).
(If you have a local Tractor Supply, they've got syringes, and some even stock the 1 gal USP PG).

I get my VG from here:http://www.rtsvapes.com/Vegetable_Glycerin_s/46.htm

Be sure to get a decent NIC base, like VT or NN, as the peppery stuff can ruin just about any mix.

http://www.nudenicotine.com/

(I just get a 60ml bottle of PG 100mg NIC and cut it in half to 50mg, and end up with 120ml).
(Split them up into 4x30ml bottles, keep one out for use and put the other 3 in the freezer).
(You can do the same thing with larger or smaller amounts too).

Just like making a shopping list:D

No human can claim the title civilized without the knowledge of how to make a pie.No parent can allow their child to go out among the wolves life defensless without knowing how to make a pie.

Heck, with a decent internet browser just about anyone can obtain the knowledge or how to make a pie.

We are talking pizza pie right?:)

I can cook anything you want, as long as you want red meat cooked using fire.

I actually know my way around a kitchen, just not much into baking...

For my jump into DIY I ordered a Liquid Barn Starter Kit and received it last Tuesday. Already has paid for itself with 150 ML's of e-Liquids sitting next to me.

Only problem I ran into is I need place to organize all the different flavors for storage.

I found this at Target, and the little clear divider trays that I put inside it. It came as a set of 2, one stacks on the other, acting as a lid, and they lock in place. Without the dividers, it would hold a lot more, but I'd have to figure another divider system, lol. Works great, makes everything easier to find.

Great Idea! I have a plastic case just like that on the shelf sitting right here! I might be time to recycle some Legacy Computer Cables and repurpose that box!

I need to do that as well. I have 6 boxes of flavors sitting on top of my bookcases and corner stand computer desk.

The first order of flavors was hard because I wasn't into more than Tobacco and could never find flavors I liked. Now with DIY I have 8 bottles of flavors here and plans for more. I have only been a DIY'er for 1 week!

I never liked flavoring until I actually quit smoking cigs. Then I went all nuts........fruits, desserts, creams, cereals, veggies and so on.

I was vaping for probably over 3 years or more before I actually found a flavor I liked it was Fruit By Th Drop Tropical. I thought it was heaven until I got into DIY and I went with Fruits and Tobacco flavoring to start off. Now I have 8 Homemade Recipes sitting next to me and thinking about another order with Maybe some deserts or something different. But I still have a lot of Base and flavors to go through before I need. So I might buy some store bought liquids to experiment with like maybe Marshmallow.
