I used to buy it by the pint, on amazon, but they went up DRASTICALLY, so I won't be doing that anymore. Still got a bit over a pint of VG, and nearly a quart of PG, so pretty soon I'll be getting one of those glycubes, 3 gal PG and 1 gal VG -- a gallon of VG will probably last me 5 yrs!

yeah I got a gal of Pg and one of VG from ED a while back for around $44 a while back including shipping. I vape 50/50.
I got the 1 gal PG and 1 gal VG deal. Forget exactly what it cost but around that amount.
yeah I can get PG by the gal at tractor supply but just as cheap at ED. I do 50/50 so the 1 gal of each is perfect for me.

When I first started DIY I checked ALL grocery stores, Drug Stores and Wal Marts in my area and only 1 health food store had any VG and only tractor supply had PG.

When I was getting pints on amazon in 2014, they were $3.95! Nature's Oil brand, from Bulk Apothecary. But yeah they're like $10-$12 now.
I have a question: how many liters or milliliters are in a gallon? On the calculator I use, on the pricing side, everything is metric, but I have no earthly idea how to convert measures as large as a gallon to metric.

Humco.......who would've thought to look in skin care for VG? Didn't know the stuff was so versatile. What else is it good for? Why they sell in health stores?
VG is used in foods, make up, skin care, health care... all kinds of things.

I've often wondered about that -- you know how winter dries your hands, and any exposure to water just seems to make it worse -- and those times when you wash your hands because you're about to handle food? I don't like to put lotion on my hands at those times, because I don't want it in the food -- would it be safe/effective to use a few drops of VG on your hands?

No reason it wouldn't be. It does leave your skin a bit tacky, so I wouldn't use much, or wait til your food prep is done. I've used it for chapped lips, too.
Thin it down just a bit with either distilled water or water from a brita like pitcher. You can also add your favorite essential oil scent to it if you want. I use it for making soups also
