Yep... I've been married twice, and still never had a wedding -- first time, in the mayor's office in Southgate, MI; 2nd time, on the courthouse lawn in Toledo, OH, by an ol black preacherman. Despite the fact that I used to dream obsessively over Brides magazine as a young girl... never had one of those fluffy dresses of my own. :(

Life REALLY IS what happens while you're :(

It's pretty good, one of the few shows I keep up on. Not much into the soapopera aspect (which in the current season is heavy) but I'm a DC nerd so...
I like most of it. I hate laurel and that one person can run from so many machine guns without getting shot but otherwise I enjoy it

Not sure which you're referring to as there are a few over the seasons

Anyways, yeah pretty decent job conforming to the comic aspect of the Green Arrow and all that, so I like it. I love the flashbacks to the island and his origin. Just overall well done, I can nitpick and complain about the honestly necessary soap opera drama (the reason I hate most shows, but I know I'm in the minority on that), but it's pretty damn well done. Now the Flash I have more issues with, but I watch it anyways.

I'll probably start the flash next, haven't got there. I think it has to have the drama and the action to make it a complete series or wouldn't make sense. I'm a nerd convert though lol, never got into comics before they started making these movies and tv series. It's the only way I'm backwards, when it comes to anything else I prefer the book instead of the screen

There's absolutely NO fault in that, I say this because I have a lot of issues with the comics. They make them impossible to keep up with. You have to read 20+ different comics to get the whole story now as they're all intertwined. I like it, as it's great to have the congruence, but at the same time it just makes it incredibly difficult to keep up and keep organized. I always think back to the first book I read with that type of multiple stories intertwined like that (East of Eden) and how even just 3 stories jumping got frustrating, but then when you have a dozen+ at any time, well it's damn near infuriating.

The alternative mediums do a great job of cleaning things up and putting them in nice easy to consume packages. I still love my comics but every time I see that little square "read blahblah for more" I just cringe a little bit. It's why I am starting to like the Marvel stuff a little more even though I've always been more of a DC guy (Batman is awesome, but more so DC builds up their villains far more than their heroes, where Marvel puts villainy in their heroes which is all well and good, but I just liked the pureness of the DC heroes vs these well developed relatable villains, like Ra's Al Ghul isn't completely wrong, and the many variations of the completely understandable Lex Luthor vs Superman).

Anyways now you all know how nerdy I am...

I think that's why I like batman and arrow etc. They have dark sides and I guess I prefer that to the "perfect hero" personally. And same with the villains, even if you don't agree there's a realistic reason for what they're doing. Except merlynn because fuck that guy

I've only just seen ras al ghul so no idea on that one yet. I've barely scratched the surface apparently of all these stories

Lol. It's too cold to purr. Like an actual cat I'd prefer a spot of sunlight to lay in right now

That would make a great signature line, lol.

Orange is the New Black
By Huck:

Season One - Oh yeah, I think I like this.
Season Two - Burned through it so fast I couldn't stand myself.
Rumors about season 3 sucking... sadness ensued... low expectations made my dreary.
Season 3 - Well that was sure better than what I was expecting!
Waiting patiently for season 4 and discovered Wentworth.

Sorta off topic but have any of you guys seen the movie "Survival Island" with Kelly Brook and Billy Zane? Made in 2006 I haven't even heard about it till just now looking at some reviews of a beautiful girl on a tropical island in a little white bikini, (my kind of movie, lol)
Starts in a few min on Showtime Beyond HD... Think I'll check it out..
