I got the arctic first gen, the arctic series is not mentioned enough. They're amazing tanks. The flavor is outrageous.

I always tell people what happened to me with those 2 together. I don't want someone to ruin their mod

Is it possible to buy a better battery? I love the looks of that mod. I just know how aggravated he gets with his video games lol

Jamie :)
oh no, vapor shark is known for making their mods as small as possible. if you crack one open there is ZERO empty space. its board, battery and case in there, packed as tighly as they can.
what I do though, carry a 16,000 mah back up battery that I use to charge my phone, tablet and mod when I work remote. There were a few times that I have used that to top off the shark, It doesn't bother me any, but I can see where that would be a pain for most. I'm h the type that carried a back up cell like that even before I vaped though.
if you wanted a small box with a better life, I believe the effusion from lostvape is a 1300 mah dna.

I really like the looks of the boxer mod. I want the 200w one. But I see its a diy? Would he have to build it?

Jamie :)

With the boxer mod you have the option to DIY but I wouldn't. Its not flimsy, just very very light. Its a short and stubby mod. As for your vaporshark question, it doesn't bother me really. I tend to set my wattage/temp and just go with it, if I need adjustment I just flip it over and check.

The rubberized finish has stood up quite well, altho I do baby my mods and I'm sure he will too if you opt for the VS DNA200. The reason why I chose the VS was due to its small form factor. The 900 3cell lipo pack doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. It lasts me almost a full day of vaping (kinda like a single 18650 mod but a tad more). I sub ohm with it, max wattage I run with my RTAs is 50-55W, usually around 40 for others.

Zip charging feels like this thing charges like an iPhone.

[edit] two things I don't like about the vs is that

1. the buttons rattle when you shake the mod, maybe its just mine, but if thats a deal breaker for you then prob look for another mod.

2. 25mm RTAs won't fit nice, over hang...

Good luck with your search.

they don't do the rubberized finish anymore but the new finish is quite nice. and if you use the sharkskin, the 25mm atty fits flush

Would the boxer mod break easily? Have you dropped it?

I was thinking about the lavabox, do you know anything about that?

Jamie :)
Here's a link to a thread I made on The Limited Edition Blood Red Lavabox.
I love my Lavabox's, both work great, have a nice rubberized grip (different colors of grips are available and can interchanged if the mood strikes) and out of all of mine I think they are the best looking as well. In that link are also pictures of my other DNA200's. Note also in that link are pictures of the extended 1300mah 3s Lipo pack that is now available.

Here's a link to Hcigar's VT133 (2 x 18650) if you are interested in going the 2 x 18650 route instead of the 3s Lipo pack route. It uses a DNA200 but is capped at 133 watts because it uses 2 cells instead of 3 (all DNA200's are capped at 133 watts when using 2 cells)

My personal favorite of my DNA200 mods is the Blood Red Lavabox. It looks great, feels great in hand, and most importantly works great.

Cheers,
Steve

read that thread as well, check out boxer's response in the middle of the thread.

[edit] excerpt

"OK....Lets tell the truth of this story. The actual user emailed us and stated his cracked by simply removing the battery door. Despite us seeing him posting negative remarks and how he DROPPED it all over online. This same user was ripping people off and buying DIY kits from us for $175 and selling "waffles" for $260 total -- describing the item as built by us and a warranty (which since he built it himself, it does't have).

Regardless, we still offered him FOR FREE to send his back and we will disassemble his and reassemble with a completely NEW enclosure of his choice. For something he DROPPED and cracked. Most people at that point would be thrilled to get a brand new unit for one they dropped, but not him. He still complained. Demanded us to a free return shipping label. Fix it the same day and ship it via NEXT DAY AIR. Then also demanded $25 back.

It was only then, and after him posting the same pictures on here, our FB and various other sites all under fake names (as you are him and doing here too) that we denied his demands. Funny, you say yours is cracked too, but yet post the same pictures of his? Where's yours?."

Sorry that we need to embarrass you like this, but our customer service is unparalleled in this industry and when we see someone like you, with multiple threads here lying about the same thing, and deceiving people, they should know the truth. We have shipped out well over 200+ units in this material and only 2 user complaints..... the other person was honest and told us he dropped his and was taken care of!

For everyone else..... We don't advertise the Alumylon is indestructible. Yes, it is a stronger material than the nylon, but as we state on our site, that also makes it less flexible. There are pros & cons of both materials.

yeah, I did quite some searching before I pulled the trigger on the boxer. To me it was because of the price tag 250 for a dna200 mod, but love the form factor and needed a dual 18650 mod for my collection. I didn't get it in alumylon, got it in black. GL with your search.

How's the performance on it? Does it misfire their autofire?

The mods on its way to me from the US, I currently reside in Shanghai, my friends bringing it over mid April. Assume its the same as other DNA200 mods, my vapor shark has had 0 performance issues. I do know that with the boxer DNA133w you might have to tinker with the escribe software to get everything up and running to a T. AFAIK the DNA200 chip is the most advanced currently out on the market so performance is nothing but great on the vaporshark.

I wouldn't suspect any misfires or autofires of any kind unless you have a flawed mod, which then you can return and swap for a new one.

Here's a link to a new DNA200 (not sure if it's available yet) that has interchangeable 3s Lipo packs like the DX200 but with the screen on the top. S-body Nuke DNA200

looks interesting, but looking at the design I assume you can't swap for a larger LIPO pack like the dx200

You know, there's been all focus on dna and sx.
Does he use TC?
Does he build? Use Drippers?

If he doesn't use the TC and uses drippers, the hexohm 2.1 would b a great thing to consider.
No screen, regulated, lifetime warranty and tough as nails.
I get a day and half on 1 pair of batteries and it's survived a drop from a second floor balcony onto a parking lot.

It's probably the best thing out there as a non TC device.

Solid suggestion. I can also attest to the quality of a Hex. I sold my v1 and miss it enough that the v2.1 is on my list.

I also dig the Raptor type boxes. Currently waiting on a Ronin Box Mods T20 Raptor. http://www.roninboxmods.com/TRaptor-120-Watt-20-AMP_p_15.html
I got a sweet deal on that box and I am eager for its arrival.

Watched Fagan quick look and changed my mind not so interested.

watched the same video. It was totally unfair to Sigelei. First, he didn't show all of the capabilities of the settings. You can actually set your preheat wattage and ramp up time. Second, he didn't seem to understand why it wasn't firing true 213 watts. This was due to the tank/coil he was using, and that the device has a limit of amperage. Third, from the full review VapeNW did, this Mod really shines in Temperature Control, which VapnFagan didn't even attempt.

The things he missed in his video are some of the main reasons I want the Sigelei. Being able to push it SAFELY with a real time amperage cutoff is nice, being able to set preheat and ramp up without software is nice, and once again from VapeNW's review, it achieves temperature goals fast and holds steady.

I will definately be pre-ordering the Sigelei 213w.

The problem is trying to squeeze out more than 100 watts per 18650 is ridiculous imo. You are going to have a small range of resistance , not to mention battery charge level that you might actually be able to get it. It's just marketing BS as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather do business with companies that under promise and over deliver instead of over promising and under delivering.

Cheers,
Steve
