Now on a somewhat lighter side, I'm getting ready for Operation Turkey Vulture! It's something that has to be done, I mean I have 250-300 of the demons in my woods, on my property. The down side is, it's going to cost me 300.00 in ammo. I told you they attack vehicles, take a look, half hour ago on my truck! :xD:

I am so so sorry!! I know exactly what you are going thru. We had a dog who got pregnant alot (wasn't mine was fiance's lil bros). She was not a good mother and stopped feeding her pups at 2-3 weeks old. They all started getting sick and we were only able to save about 1 from each litter. I tried so hard and it hurts like holy hell. I know your pain and the only consolation is that pup will look out for you from up there at rainbow bridge. He is your angel just as you were his. I hope you can find some comfort in this.

I can't like any of that sad stuff though I'm with ya all. But if there was a "Peace" button I'd press it a million times for you guys, that's all I got. Peace, Saddle. You're a Dude.

And if there was a "Hate" button I'd press it for all those ugly turduckin vultures. Get away from Albert's truck, you bastards! I got your back, Vapin. It's time to feather their nests with a shotgun. I've also got a lock and the firing-solution for a photon torpedo if you need one.

I'll never be able to eat a Turducken again now.
Mom sends me one every Christmas...

They go to flight too fast for shotgun fire, that's why I got permission to use my BAR, 650rpm, I will be out there all night cleaning up the mess. The law just likes to see a full auto in use by someone that knows how to use it, if the birds are looking south, I fire north to south, I'm gonna get em!

What is the earliest age at which an animal can be safely vaccinated?

In general, six to nine weeks is the earliest age at which a routine vaccination program should be started. Exceptions occur for animals who are in environments which would likely expose them to disease, e.g., humane shelters, breeding facilities, etc. These animals may benefit from earlier vaccinations. Vaccination with a parvovirus vaccine in puppies 5 weeks of age is recommended by some. Vaccinating puppies and kittens less than 4-5 weeks of age is generally not recommended.

Distemper

Canine distemper is a contagious and serious viral illness with no known cure. The disease affects dogs, and certain species of wildlife, such as raccoons, wolves, foxes, and skunks. The common house pet, the ferret, is also a carrier of this virus. Canine distemper belongs to the Morbillivirus class of viruses, and is a relative of the measles virus, which affects humans, the Rinderpest virus that affects cattle, and thePhocine virus that causes seal distemper. All are members of the Paramyxoviridaefamily. Young, unvaccinated puppies and non-immunized older dogs tend to be more susceptible to the disease.

Symptoms and Types

The virus, which is spread through the air and by direct or indirect (i.e. utensils, bedding) contact with an infected animal, initially attacks a dog’s tonsils and lymph nodes and replicates itself there for about one week. It then attacks the respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems.

In the initial stages of Canine Distemper, the major symptoms include high fever (≥103.5 ° F, or 39.7° C), reddened eyes, and a watery discharge from the nose and eyes. An infected dog will become lethargic and tired, and will usually becomeanorexic. Persistent coughing, vomiting, and diarrhea may also occur. In the later stages of the disease, the virus starts attacking the other systems of the dog’s body, particularly the nervous system. The brain and spinal cord are affected and the dog may start having fits, seizures, paralysis, and attacks of hysteria.

Good. How about you tell him about parvo and corona while you're at it
'cause I think he needs to know. Those 3 are the major heartbreakers of puppydom.

What else you need?
He doesn't know what the poor pup had and I worked training attack dogs for over 15 years.
Since you were being informative I figured
he'd appreciate the whole pix.

Gee, Whiskey...

Here's my little princess, who'd like to make you feel better...

When I read about the puppy, she came right over to me and just sat there looking up, like "Can I help, mom?" She could tell I was sad.

Ignore the messes. I'm too tired after an hour of wire battles
Good job!
But living in a cold climate why would have bare wood floors? Seems it would be better to install plush wall-to-wall carpeting with a good layer of insulation under it..stay warmer longer and cheaper to heat..just a thought

I despise carpet personally. The laminate is so much easier to care for, looks nicer (to my eyes) and it's far more clean and sanitary (again, in my eyes)

We did the carpet thing for a while. But it collects animal hair and dust and everything else and just doesn't ever feel clean to me. My allergies have been a lot better since we got rid of it. I do have area rugs and such but end up buying new every year or so

That right there makes you an authority, my bad , attack dog trainer? tit for tat Hazy, fuck the game you play
I have no idea what game you're referring to, Madam.
But I do perceive a certain lack of hospitality in you toward me recently.
In fact I perceive a definite degree of hostility from you
as well as a lack of civility.

Am I to be condemned now because Stevegmu is disliked though he's my friend?
Or is is perhaps that I pointed out some lack of responsibility and you dislike that

In any case I've done you or anyone here no harm
so your indulgence in this game *you* play is just plain silly.

And yes, I trained attack dogs and did obedience work for a guard dog company
for a number of years and that entailed dealing with the medical attention of over 200 dogs.
While that makes me no expert it does give some degree of experience.
I've also owned and bred several breeds of dogs.

So again, I was being helpful but you seem to be bothered by
my helpfulness...

Best Regards,
Hazy
