Evening everyone ! Hank get the foot ready. Made two trips to Toms River after work the past two nights. The kids in Detox again. Oh well. First trip was to get him there. Brought him with only the clothes on his back ! You guys know the drill. When an addict says they will go you take them as fast as you can because tomorrow never comes with an addict. Brought clothes today. I think this time we're going to try California for a 60 day program. Remember the commercial for the Navy I think. See the world or something like that. These days you can see the world as an addict going from state to state for Detox and Rehab LMAO. It's not that funny though I'm just a sick person. He's still alive so there's still hope. You never know when someone is going to "Get It". Young people dying here left and right. Eight or nine in the past two weeks ! Ok time to hit the couch and TV for a little. I have to watch Bearing Sea Gold. Have it DVR'ed. See ya in the AM.

You and the boy are both in my prayers. I have seen a higher success rate the further from the stomping grounds one gets so I pray he gets it, and you know if you need anything let me know.

This will be a very hard thing to realize.. but he will not get and stay sober until HE WANTS TO. There isn't one thing you can do to change that or make it happen faster. No amount of rehab or detox will do it; he has to make the choice and the commitment.

No I know that for sure. I have a sponsor that I would call and tell him that I got him into another program and he would say so..... I would get mad and say what do you mean so ? Then he would say does he want to be there and I kind of got it. But he also does say you never know when an addict will get it and that's so true. We all got it one way or another. It's in God's time I guess. Maybe he will get sick and tired of spending the last seven years in and out of programs. He's the Siskel and Ebert of the rehab system. He can give you ratings on so many lol. Have a great night !

Basically he has to want to have a life, more than he wants to use or drink. It's scary, and very hard, but it really has to come from inside him; there is simply no other way.

Ok question...lots of talk of noisy crickets and Griffins...if a noob like me wants to learn RDA's what would you guys/gals suggest I get? I have a few MODS so covered there....just need the top piece.

I would say the Griffin for a RTA and maybe something like the Dark Horse for a RDA..I have both.. They are easy to build and performance is awesome! Especially with the Griffin, just my 2¢,

Skully,, I'm a new builder too. I had two Griffins and sold them. I had a hard time with the dual coil thing. I have two serpents on order, they're single coil (I think, I don't have them yet) I'd recommend trying a single coil first. I have a steamboat rda that I use for tasting my juices and it's super easy. It can take two coils but I only put one in it and it works fine. Look for an easy single coil RTA to start out with and research!!

I would highly recommend the Billow v3. Easy to build. Easy to wick. Easy & convenient to fill. I've recommended the Griffin in the past, but it can be finicky to wick. Billow is much easier

Sure! For me a good RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomiser) is King of the Clouds..
A good RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomiser) is good for flavor and clouds too but clouds are not as big like on my RDA...Both are good and build very similar...I also find the velocity style decks very easy to build...much easier than building with posts, least it is for me...

Me personally (don't listen to me. I barely know what I'm doing. You've been warned) started on an rda and glad I did. It's less finicky as far as wicking and if it leaks you don't lose 6mls of juice in your lap (ask me how I know. Fuckin griffin) but you could also grab one of each, others may learn differently (better) than me lol
I am thinking I want an RDA...want to get away from tanks altogether.

Dripping uses more juice and it can be very messy, especially when I overdrip and juice runs out the airflows and down the side of my mods..always thinking its going to short out the buttons or chip, sorta freak out cleaning it up..lol

It's good to have both in my opinion. I can throw my herakles in my purse and run out the door, go everywhere with it, and never spill a drop. It's not rebuildable technically but I've just found a deck that will fit it
I have a Heracles as well! Love my Arctic as well.

Really depends on the RDA. With my Achilles, I use less than 5ml per day. They're as conservative on juice as cartos.

Actually as you get better you can even rebuild the herakles heads. I've rewicked mine several times. The coil itself lasts for months, it's the cotton that goes bad

I use my starre coils in the herakles with no issues so I'm hoping this will work. Also one of these other tanks may have an rba deck and should interchange
