I practice out in my warehouse, so all I hit are bags of beans or corn. Mostly do hover maintains and spins in head mode to learn control, but I know a GPS fixes that.

ahhhhh a little racing drone.

well, the phantom 3 standard will wonder ever so gently. the advanced has an optical sensor so it literally stays completely still when in hover.
there are some other options though that are better learners if youre looking for a camera platform.
the hubsonx4 is pretty nice with brushless motors. also the chearson cx20 is nice

The book is kinda dumb and I'm embarrassed to admit it, but it's called Stakeout At The Vampire Circus; one of the Dan Shamble, Zombie PI series, very amusing satire of the zombie/otherworld type. I've read all the others, from the library, but this one is out of print, so the only way to get it is in Kindle format. The library doesn't have it, but it's only $1.50 from amazon is why I was considering it, but I'd hate to buy it and then not be able to read it.
