Snow Wolf 200w only does NI200. The Snow Wolf Mini 75w does NI and TI.

You can set the Temp 100 degrees lower thought and use TI though...but thats not whats its intended for.

thanks skt239, i was hoping some rogue vapers would come out of the wood works and tell me its ok to use ti wire. snow wolf seems limited if it only works with ni200 in tc mode with ti and ss wire out in the world. it works like a charm with kanthal wire though. except i come nowhere near to utilizing the power available. i guess it's the pros and cons of using different mods.

The snow wolf was a early TC mod, it came out as one of the first TC mods that was affordable and did more then 50w in temp mode. The Laisimo L1 is basically the new Snow Wolf with the modes your looking for....

i thought about factoring in the coefficient for ti wire and running it at lower temp, but youre right, obviously but what its intended for. i guess I'm just trying to make this old snowwolf do new tricks. ill stick to a newer and cheaper model.

The Snow Wolf is a great mod, its just a popular mod that still grabs peoples attentions...You cant really ask a mod built before now to have all the functions of recent devices...
It does have specs that most most cant deliver on and that is why I love it...

don't get me wrong, so far, this snow wolf is performing like a champ. it has tons of power and feels solid. it has sold reviews and ive yet to come across anything negative. i know i won't go wrong if i purchase this model. thats why im asking questions about tc. maybe i should try ni 200 wire. any experience with that?

Im not a fan of NI200. Im a Kanthal/Nichrome Fan...This is why I bought the Hohm Wrecker G2 for TC.

It is the Kanthal TC Mod, it also does Nichrome and other Metal and even all of them Mixed...Many of the users on this forum have them and we all use them without issues...I posted a quick tutorial on how to dial it in for TC for these wires in the Hohm Wrecker G2 thread, after you dial it in it works VERY WELL. Its one of my favorite work horses also, its 151w feels almost twice as powerful then all of the 200w mods I own.

If you go on vaporcube and look in thier device list they have a "Normal Edition G2" which is all one color, even the symbols are colored. So if you dont like the look of the symbols get the Black Normal Edition, its the best option to avoid the look.

No problem. The NI200 on the SW works very well; unfortunately I no longer vape nickel so the wolf is strictly a regular watt box. Despite that, my three snow wolfs are my most used. My dream mod is a snow wolf exactly like the v1.5 but with SS and TCR settings.

My Dream mod would be this Vaporflask below with a Hohm Wrecker G2 Chip and have it have 3 18650's held inside...

When it comes to form factor you just can't beat a Flask. That Hohm Wrecker is next on my list. I'm digging the Blue one. I won a Blue Coolfire TC100 been hearing good things about the Innokin chip. Can't wait to get my hands on that one. I should get it this week.
