Dropped a brand new Kanger platinum 60w in a cup of vodka but it still comes on and doesn't have liquid in the screen. The wattage +/- won't cooperate though...will it pull through you think?

Might be too late, for it to survive. Some electronics might survive when you let them totally dry though.

Ya, give it time. IMO Vodka shouldn't leave much residue behind once it dries out, but that's just my opinion.

One thing you could try is to put the mod in a bag of rice for a day or two. I've heard that can speed up the drying process.

Good luck with it!

An additional thought, if the plus/minus buttons continue to not work, disassemble the mod if possible, and clean contacts with 90% isopropyl alcohol. A dust of Deoxit might work as well. Again, make sure to give it enough time, in order to let the alcohol/Deoxit evaporate, prior to using the mod.

It was a quick submerging and fast recovery action but still has its little issues as described. I found that if I tap the fire button for vaping that I can stop it by tapping the "+" once. It will continue to fire constant for the whole 10 seconds if you don't tap "+" or unscrew Atty...just hate to ruin a brand new mod even though its of the cheaper ones I have.
