Hello everyone,

If you could only have one and only one mech mod, which would it be?

I am looking to get a mech due to the aesthetics and the form factor of them. While I love my regulated devices for convenience, lets face it, I look like I am sucking on a 2 way radio. I also feel that I dont care for high wattages nor insane sub ohms, and do not care for much of the features that today's regulated devices have.

I would love to hear your opinions on why you chose that mod, and would love to see some photos if you have them.

Thank you.

The only one I would need is the Lucifer. You can run it in series or in parallel mode. Good luck finding one though. I'm a series guy at heart. Also love my Noisy Cricket and my Oblivion.

If you are after the wow factor on looks but only with higher ohm builds then the advken/mad hatter wooden box mod could be for you...i bought one because it was advertised as a full mechanical...it's not...it's has wires...so mine has a .45 ohm build in it to keep the watts down with a mad hatter v2 rda..plus a stainless and wooden drip tip that I stained and polished to the same colour...

My brass dos equis has a tobh with insulator and custom 510 drip tip...i run this at .21 ohms using dual coils20160202_170310-1.jpg

My latest mod is a polished incubus with so horney rda....i run this at 0.05 ohms in 6 coil format...20160420_230930.jpg

There are great looking mods out there...you just have to find them...

Cheers for the like Paul ...what mod is that.. it's pretty cool...i can see me putting a black "so horney" rda on that....seeing as I've had zero success with tanks so far(I just can't replicate the flavour that I get on my drippers)... :0 (

Set brand aside. As I am not a brand person, except for my Jeeps. It would be 100% mechanical, No wires or circuitry. It would be brass or copper with brass or stainless contacts and 510 thread, It would have a locking switch using a SPRING, It would be a true body hybrid or more likely standard 510. It would be 18500 with an extension tube for 18650 or a kick module. I run my Brass origin 18500 with a Kayfun or Sat 22 on top.
If it's a box it will have a slide on cover, magnet locks OK. But preference would NO Magnets, period. I will tolerate aluminum possibly plastic in a box mod, do to weight. In this case I will allow for a negative wire in order to complete a circuit. If a box I would also prefer it to be a Squonker, The Reos are pretty bullet proof from what I here. I have the Clone, Its nearly bullet proof. For $10 on the Reos Mod site It will be. Clones negative spring and pos contact are weak, but the authentic Grand parts fit...

I chose the mods I did because I liked them the best. I went mechanical, FIRST before regulated, in order to learn about vaping and building coils. I got the Reo clone because I wanted a dripper, but didn't want to drip or carry juice. With a squonker box you can use nearly and dripper you can convert to BF

I traded away three of the above mods. Honest. I regret trading my mun equitas (castgator) but not the diablo or tug. These days in order of usage ...
Noisy Cricket
Underground
Lucifer
Oblivion
I have not used a tube mech in many months. Batteries just don't last long enough for me and honestly prefer boxes.

I like the tubes when I'm sitting around at home, don't usually take those out and about. If I ever stumble across a Munequita I would probably try and buy it, I like the graphic on that one.

How do you like the Oblivion? I've been thinking about one of those.

no home is complete without one.

Still chuckling, hehehehe.

Still vote for the REO as best "if only could have one mech" scenario - worth every cent and I'm a cheapskate.

I almost never leave my house without a tube.
