....on how long it will take for this blonde to blow her face off with a mech mod lol. A vape shop went out of business in my brothers town so he bought a bunch of stuff real cheap. He mailed me a few things and one of them was a Nemesis mech mod. I have NEVER attempted to use one of those before and I have to admit, I am a bit scared of it. I have pre made coils (also purchased at the shop) that are tiger 26ga .36ohms and I will be using them on a Mutation X v4. I will be using 18650 battery. So, having said that....how do I make this thing work? What do I need to learn to make this NOT blow up in my face (I kinda like it the way it is lol).

Thanks in advance for replies.

Depending on the battery could be quick.
Got an ohm meter and or an inline meter?

And protip from a nemmy user... Take that fucker totally apart, inspect for metal flakes or flashing. those are bad and if I can still find it I could take pictures of why it is bad.

.36 isn't super low, however that is dependent on your batteries...and your understanding of of amp loads pulsing and constinuous....

With a single coil you'd be safe (pulling 11.+A). However, with a dual coil of those pre build coils, you're pulling approximately 28A. Therefore, you need to use at least a battery, that has a CDR of 30A (e.g. Sony VCT4)..

shit...back in the day we all vaped on mech mods...we started out with 1.2 ohm coils graduated down to 1 then .8 then .5 ect....and so we made our first mistakes were made on .1 or .8 builds that could spook you but not blow you up...nowdays people are jumping into vaping at .3 or .2 coils.......where the margin of error is much slimmer.

Depending, on what regulated mods you have, you might be able to use a mod to read your build's resistance. However, I do recommend getting a good Ohm meter, like one from http://shop.usaohmmeters.com (worth every penny).

That does seem the case today.
Like handing a hundred thousand teens the keys to Veyrons.

I am using the .3 coils because that's what I have. I would rather different ones but I do not build them nor do I have the resources to run out and buy different ones. I know that's not ideal but have to work with what I have.

Assuming you have an above-room-temperature IQ ( ;) ) , approach it the way an intelligent person would handle a firearm.

Be smart. Learn, and understand, the risks and rewards. The how's and the why's.
Then enjoy.

Vape safe. :D
