My current setup is a Nautalis Mini with a Snow Wolf Mini box mod. I use 100% VG from Virgin Vapor and I mouth to lung on 1.8 coils. I have come to the conclusion that the VG does not wick well.

I would like to switch to an RDA and drip instead - which - if I understand - will do away with my wicking issue (because I am dripping directly). I really do NOT want to build coils. What RDA should I buy. What pre-made coils should I buy that are low wattage (1.2 - 1.8)? I assume nothing comes complete with the cotton or does it? I'm trying to make it as easy as possible - "just add juice" if it exists... I do not want a hot - high wattage or sub ohm vape. Thanks!

Guess you have not tried a good sub tank yet, and a lot of them come with a RTA so you can use your own coils which you can buy on ebay being reasonably priced. RDA for dripping can be messy with needing to wipe juice all the time, and having to drip every few vapes which is not recommended when driving.

Best to check out a local vape shop to test these products first before buying to see if they are for you.

For the juice your using I say there are so many better flavors out their then what they offer, just saying that is me.

I have tried sub tanks but the problem with the sub tank is that I only Mouth to Lung and the sub ohm coils and high wattage give me a quick 1 second - hot vape and I don't like it - even when I've put a higher ohm coil. I tried the Triton 2 but the coils still have a problem wicking and getting flavor. I figured dripping would solve this?

Is there a reason your using 100% VG juice like having a reaction to PG, because that may be your wicking issue with sub tanks. Never had any issues with the 30 or so sub tanks I have with using a 70/30 blend.

If your really looking for a great RDA with being easy to work with, and has a deep well made in the USA here you go. You can buy the RDA alone for around $69 but this link has a good deal with juice included.

I just chose 100% VG - but I have like ten 30 ML bottles. So - for now I want to use them and I really like one of the flavors. You are correct... The problem IS the high VG. I was hoping the dripper would be a work around the wicking issue.

Yes the dripper would work great with 100% VG

There are some damn good RDA'S out there that would work well for MTL, but you'll need to build coils. It's really pretty easy but if you're set on no building there is a good alternative.

Just remove the glass from the Nautilus Mini, drip directly on the coil, screw the chimney on without the glass and vape. It works well, I did that before I started building my own coils.

But seriously you should just get a good rda and build. Building coils is very easy, especially basic coils.

Okay - how about some MTL rdas I should be able to find at a b&m - any recommendations? How about a coil that is higher ohm that at least comes pre wrapped that I just add the cotton?

It's VG/PG not PG/VG

You want an MTL high ohm RDA that you won't have to build in?
Why do you even want an RDA?

The Patriot would work very well, another that I have is the Freakshow Mini. I'd recommend the mini, low profile RDA'S for MTL, they're excellent for flavor and you do want to build around 1.5 ohms with them usually.

Also look into using silica, it comes braided and you just wrap the wire around it. Can't get much easier than that.

Cut him some slack, that's what I was looking for before I got into building.

We all start our journey in different ways

Also high ohm builds are great, here's two of mine.

1.2 ohm , great flavor and stealth

1.1 ohm on one of my series mods, works very beautifully.

You don't need an rda. You need to thin your juice.
+1
You can thin it down with either some unflavored pg or distilled water without effecting the flavor too much.
Poking a hole through your wick will also help.

Though you can MTL with rda's,it's hard to find one with a draw comparable to a nautilus. Most are still less restrictive even with the air completely closed.

Okay I'm going to try that. Does 10% DW sound about right?

I'd start with less. Maybe 3-5% at most and see how it does. If you want to thin it and be sure the flavor won't suffer, order the same juice with a thinner pg/vg ratio and mix it with what you have.

Just a quick update for you guys. I purchased a Avocado RTA and it is wicking through the tank well on the 100% VG and of course also gives me the option of dripping. The draw is slightly more airy than I wanted but still works well. So far very happy. I had the guy at the vape shop build it with a 1.8 coil.

if you like to MTL, I would not get a wide open rda, something like the NarDA, snapdragon, or even an old Magma would be closer to a mouth to lung rda experience.
would wick great with 100% vg, be killer flavor, and ideal for mouth to lung vaping.

The guy at the store recommended a Royal Hunter with my own drip tip (since the OEM one is real wide bore) because it has good control of the air flow. Is that a good option? I am trying to find something that is widely available instead of searching for older units.

If you're MTL an old Patriot would be better for you or a Freakshow Mini.
