Is the Nautilus mini a temperature controlled tank?? Do I need a special tank with a temperature mod?Or is it just the coil I use which depends on temp/volts? Thanks
Ok, thank you.You need a mod that does tc, and then you need specialty coils for tc. You can get nickel (Ni200) coils for the nautilus I believe. Don't ever use Ni200 coils in regular power mode on a mod that doesn't support TC though!

So do you recommend a tank that would be good for me to start with that isn't to confusing? How about the Herkles tank" I think it's called" will that do the trick? Thank you by the way.The material the coil is made out of will determine if it's TC capable or not Kanthal is power mode only. Ni200 and Ti1 are TC only. SS can go either way. I don't know what's available for the Nautilus mini, but the same applies to any tank.
Ok thank youYou can easily use the standard coils in a Nautilus mini on a 60 W Istick. Just run the Istick on watts mode instead of TC.
That is an excellent beginners setup btw.
I'm looking for throat hit and flavor mostly. Would love the vapor production too if possible. I'm using a Joyetech eGo AIO, There's no watt/volt control, though I think it runs at 15w to 28w range. Are you after vapor production, flavor, both? What wattage do you normally vape at? Answer these questions and you'll get better answers.

Yeah, I guess I could always switch tanks when needed. I guess 60w is good enough for now and future Right? I'm gonna be keeping this set up for a long time now. At least 6 to 9 months. Funds are tight right now. This is a good strategy, go simple on your first upgrade. That way you have a good setup and can get more advanced "stuff" and can still vape well while you learn the ropes of more complicated devises.

Thank you for the information, I'll have to research RDA's, maybe I will start with that. The Istick 60W has performed well for me - I have two of them and they have survived crashes to the floor, juice leaks, crappy coil builds, you name it - and a whole lot of chain-vaping. I see a lot of places are selling the newer Istick 200 w for just a little more, but I have no idea how it performs or its durability. Also, it takes three 18650 batteries, which adds a significant cost to your startup price.
The 60W requires a 18650 battery. It can be charged through the mod, but that can be problematic for some people. One place you NEVER want to skimp is on batteries. Remember, replacement prices just add to the price of vaping and hospital visits are costly. Avoid Efest and other discount brands, and avoid buying cheap knockoffs from places like eBay and Amazon that are claiming to be genuine.
If you are in genuine dire straights financially, you might want to consider a decent RDA (dripper) instead of an RTA (tank).
This just my opinion after having spent precious resources (hard earned cash) on a number of RTAs that took me weeks or even months to master, only to find they'd never vape to my style. It can take weeks or even months to work out the kinks when you are very new.
Dripping at higher ohms (above 1 ohm) will not guzzle juice like some of these more high-test monsters you see a lot of people using and are just plain easier to master, though I prefer tanks because I do not have time to mess with juice all day, especially when I'm at work.
Yes, I think I will go with Nautilus mini set up. I'll mess with the RDA's in the future. I just want simple right now.I think that the Nautilus Mini is such a good performing trouble free all around tank I have 3 of them. I bought the second one 2 days after the first and just bought a third last week because of too many flavors of e-Liquids. Now one for Tobacco, one for deserts and the 3rd is for fruits. Another thing with the Mini I have never had any leakage some may say being a bottom fill is a drawback but everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it.
Yes, how do you prime it, your way?Along with the simplicity you also get a decent cloud and good flavor. Plus such an easy coil/atomizer change. Remember to always prime or you will fry a coil in seconds and if you want I found a trick for priming that you can be vaping in minutes by doing.
Cool, thank you. Gonna be ordering the mod and tank today. They recommend that you put a couple of drops in the center of the coil but I found if you blow air backward you can start it wicking that way and then a drop on each hole in the bottom on the outside. Let it sit for a minute or two and the minimum 10 minute wait is a thing of the past!
Works for me but your experience may vary.
Will do, thanksOn the Aspire site there is some good information on identifying the fakes. Spend some time looking at it before you order it is worth it.
I ordered a istick 60w and the nautilus mini.thanks everyone for your time and comments.
What wattage do you use the istick 60w in with Nautilus mini?I have two of them I use at work under crazy conditions and they always just plain function no matter what I hurl at `em.
Very good value for the buck.
Oh ok, I'm sure they are very similar though.I know you will be happy with the Nautilus Mini but I have the TC40w and can't tell you about the 60w.
Oh ok, I'm sure they are very similar though.
I payed about $45 shipped for a Istick 60w, Samsung battery and USB charger.
I definitely need another tank. I hate mixing flavors. Will pick up batteries for sure and eventually another temp mod. That's not bad at all.
As funds become available, I strongly urge you to get back up batteries, and back up setups.
I highly recommend that, I started with the Nautilus mini and iStick 30 watt. It's a solid foundation to start with.Yes, I think I will go with Nautilus mini set up. I'll mess with the RDA's in the future. I just want simple right now.

Then when you're ready move into the build world with RDA'S and Rebuildable Tanks. Watch a lot of YouTube videos and ask questions. It's very rewarding and fun.
But yes you've started with a good setup

Got my istick today, now waiting on my nautilus mini.
Yeah it sucks, I won't get my tank most likely til the end of next week. I was at the smoke shop today and saw a Nmini for $27. I paid less for it online though, but I could be vaping today on it if I would've bought it.Welcome to the world of waiting for vapemail

Wow 6 weeks, I'd go nuts lol What stuff do you get from China? Mods, tanks ?etc. The vapers dilemma, I know it well. I've had to wait as long as six weeks for stuff to come from China. The trade off to save money sucks, but none of us are millionaires here.
