Is the Nautilus mini a temperature controlled tank?? Do I need a special tank with a temperature mod?Or is it just the coil I use which depends on temp/volts? Thanks

The material the coil is made out of will determine if it's TC capable or not Kanthal is power mode only. Ni200 and Ti1 are TC only. SS can go either way. I don't know what's available for the Nautilus mini, but the same applies to any tank.

You can easily use the standard coils in a Nautilus mini on a 60 W Istick. Just run the Istick on watts mode instead of TC.

I'm looking for throat hit and flavor mostly. Would love the vapor production too if possible. I'm using a Joyetech eGo AIO, There's no watt/volt control, though I think it runs at 15w to 28w range.

This is a good strategy, go simple on your first upgrade. That way you have a good setup and can get more advanced "stuff" and can still vape well while you learn the ropes of more complicated devises.
Yeah, I guess I could always switch tanks when needed. I guess 60w is good enough for now and future Right? I'm gonna be keeping this set up for a long time now. At least 6 to 9 months. Funds are tight right now.

The Istick 60W has performed well for me - I have two of them and they have survived crashes to the floor, juice leaks, crappy coil builds, you name it - and a whole lot of chain-vaping. I see a lot of places are selling the newer Istick 200 w for just a little more, but I have no idea how it performs or its durability. Also, it takes three 18650 batteries, which adds a significant cost to your startup price.
The 60W requires a 18650 battery. It can be charged through the mod, but that can be problematic for some people. One place you NEVER want to skimp is on batteries. Remember, replacement prices just add to the price of vaping and hospital visits are costly. Avoid Efest and other discount brands, and avoid buying cheap knockoffs from places like eBay and Amazon that are claiming to be genuine.
If you are in genuine dire straights financially, you might want to consider a decent RDA (dripper) instead of an RTA (tank).
This just my opinion after having spent precious resources (hard earned cash) on a number of RTAs that took me weeks or even months to master, only to find they'd never vape to my style. It can take weeks or even months to work out the kinks when you are very new.
Dripping at higher ohms (above 1 ohm) will not guzzle juice like some of these more high-test monsters you see a lot of people using and are just plain easier to master, though I prefer tanks because I do not have time to mess with juice all day, especially when I'm at work.

I think that the Nautilus Mini is such a good performing trouble free all around tank I have 3 of them. I bought the second one 2 days after the first and just bought a third last week because of too many flavors of e-Liquids. Now one for Tobacco, one for deserts and the 3rd is for fruits. Another thing with the Mini I have never had any leakage some may say being a bottom fill is a drawback but everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it.
Yes, I think I will go with Nautilus mini set up. I'll mess with the RDA's in the future. I just want simple right now.
Along with the simplicity you also get a decent cloud and good flavor. Plus such an easy coil/atomizer change. Remember to always prime or you will fry a coil in seconds and if you want I found a trick for priming that you can be vaping in minutes by doing.

They recommend that you put a couple of drops in the center of the coil but I found if you blow air backward you can start it wicking that way and then a drop on each hole in the bottom on the outside. Let it sit for a minute or two and the minimum 10 minute wait is a thing of the past!

I purchased all of mine from a B&M Vape shop because to save just a couple of bucks was not worth the wait or the possibility of a fake or clone. Saw one online that came with coils and an incredible price. Looking at the Authentic coils the graphics were not correct so they had to be fakes.

I have two of them I use at work under crazy conditions and they always just plain function no matter what I hurl at `em.

The Nautilus Mini is suggested to be run at 9 to 12.5 or so Watts. I have heard others run them higher. But that is the safe zone or you will ruin the coils. And trust me that tiny little atomizer if it is singed will taste nasty! Happened to me the other day while out in the car and good thing I had a second tank with me because it was UN-vapable.

Feel free to try out different wattages to find your own sweet spot. There is no "recommended" wattage in the real world (there may be a manufacturers one, but those usually blow) It is going to depend on the ohm rating of your coil, what type of juice is in it and your personal taste. The one rule: start low and gradually go up. You can burn a coil starting too high.

No problem buddy just remember start low and work your way up until you find the sweet spot which I find changes with different e-Liquids. Also sometimes I find that I raise and lower the wattage for the same juice depending on ambient air temperature or humidity.

Anyway, hope you like it and vapenw has the V1 Herakles for $15.00, in case you want to try TC (Ni200 coils are cheap and readily available on ebay for the Herk.) Love my Istick 60. Especially for the price I paid. Just ordered a 60watt TC device for $19.00 from Efun.top. They got me on shipping though...
I payed about $45 shipped for a Istick 60w, Samsung battery and USB charger.

As funds become available, I strongly urge you to get back up batteries, and back up setups.
I definitely need another tank. I hate mixing flavors. Will pick up batteries for sure and eventually another temp mod.
I highly recommend that, I started with the Nautilus mini and iStick 30 watt. It's a solid foundation to start with.
Then when you're ready move into the build world with RDA'S and Rebuildable Tanks. Watch a lot of YouTube videos and ask questions. It's very rewarding and fun.
But yes you've started with a good setup

The vapers dilemma, I know it well. I've had to wait as long as six weeks for stuff to come from China. The trade off to save money sucks, but none of us are millionaires here.
