Isub g coils

Anyone else had real bad issues with the 0.5ohm kanthal and 0.2ohm ni200 coils on the isub g?

They last a day maybe 2 then the flavour and vapour production just dies on them! For the day or so they work they are great.

Using either 50/50 or 70vg/30pg juices at 6mg.

Keep within the watts outlined and the temp outlined. Wick the juice in the coils properly as per youtube vids, and other posts i have seen etc....

Can anyone help me out???

Both the .5 that came with the tank went in 2 days. What ratio juice are you using? And what watts?

I have it on my istick 40wtc. As the coils say they can only go to 35w anyway I didn't see any reason to upgrade from the istick.

I got the tank last Wednesday. Used both supplied .5 and now on my 2nd .2 ni200.

70 vg 30 pg
22 - 27 watts
I use them on an MVP 3.0 Pro and a Disruptor, and a Sigelei 50 watt mod.

I have never had any problems with the coils.

Maybe, just maybe, your Istick doesn't "read" properly.
What I mean is, I have an IPV2X, but when I put my Isub G on any of my Innokin mods, or my Sigelei at 22 watts, the vape is perfect.
I take the same Isub G and put it on the IPV at 22 watts and the vape is extremely hot and "burnt" tasting.
I feel that the IPV puts out a higher wattage that the readout says.
I will not buy anything by IPV again.

If my explanation makes any sense:)

See i wondered that. But everything i read says the istick is underpowered.

On my ego mega tank i had no issues and coils would only need changing with a flavour change.

All very weird.

I will go to my local vape shop tomorrow and ask if i can just try another mod.

It's my first innokin product and at the moment it's looking to be my last.

Um from what I see the Ni coils are for temp control only. I'm getting an Apex tank with my Coolfire iv plus and I screen shotted the info on the myvaporstore website. Here;

Please don't let it be your last! Plenty of reviews say its wonderful! My favorite reviewer, TiaVapes, say these iSub tanks are her absolute favorite tanks. Make sure before you buy anything you look up reviews and get various user opinions. It always helps me. I hope you get your coil issue worked out! Good luck :):luck:

See i bought it on the strength of tia, twisted420 and indoorsmokers.

I just wish the coils weren't dying as quick. When it's a fresh coil it's brilliant. But 2 days and flavour and vapour dies? Not good in my book.

Ok, so i have done some research watched vids, read posts etc.

Bought some muyghi cotton, rewicked and flavour and vapour much much better. For the £5 i have enough to rewick a coil about 60 times!!

So even if the cotton does go after a couple of days it is no hassle to rewick! Took 5 mins.

Not as miffed now with the coils!

Cheers all

I also have an isub G. I use the .5 kanthals on my innokin cool fire 4plus. Vape at 25-30 watts. Most of my juices are high vg. I rewick them every 2-3 weeks , dry burn and quench the coils as well. the coils last 4-6 weeks this way. Never had a dry hit or a burn. Don't know what could be going on with yours. The isub g is my go to tank when I'm out and about. It's an excellent sub ohm system.

Cheers elora. I am finding some are just so ram packed it leaves a real horrible tight draw. Binned my ni coils completely as can't seem to rewick them without damaging the coil itself.

The .5 kanthal are great after rewicking. So glad i found that first vid showing how easy it was!!
