Isn't it unbelievable how crooked the FDA and basically all gov agencies are?

Did anyone else read the link someone posted about the antidepressant meds children and adults are prescribed?, the drugs are causing children and adults to commit "homicide" and suicide. The FDA and BP didn't want that written on the labeling as possible drug-induced side effects, it would curtail sales.

I was shocked BP is still allowed to sell this shit, at big-bucks too. It's all about the money, they could care less about human lives.

After reading what actually goes on at the FDA, any normal person would be serving life in a penitentiary. Money buys the FDA, it's very simple to understand.

Its very sad for people that haven't made the switch and all the future smokers out there.

I used to be one of those people who thought only smokers/former smokers should vape, until I realized that new smokers are created everyday.

That's one of the reasons the British gov. is so pro-vaping, because national health comes out of everyone's pocketbook

May or may not be one eye drunk typing. I love you guys. GFYs
And we love you, so GFY as well!:blowkiss: However, rather than one eyed drunk typing, wouldn't that be one hand drunk typing?

Oh yes I don't know if I wanna be her or do her
Ahh, I see, maybe it was one hand after all.

top of the morning, folks :)

for some reason, the cranial implant decided it wanted to be awake... blergh... so, going to start the critter chores (gotta clean chinchilla cages today)... I did go ahead and order a few 510 connectors from FatDaddy and Varitube (have a project in the works to build a couple of desktop vape stations that run off of a 12v power supply - still doing some research/ planning on what parts I am going to need, but almost all of it will be pretty readily available... may need to jump on the DNA200 chips in the next month or so, though, since they are one of the ones that accept direct 12v input and may get... scarceish... the Raptor chip should be no issue though as it ain't vape-specific)... but how sexay are these?

it's never too early to start, lol :)

once i actually get the projects started, i'll post pics, too :) first one will be adapted with old gaming pc power supply (500w/ 34A output on the 12v rail) and designed for desktop/ home use specifically... second one will use a 360w project psu and i am thinking be built into an ammo box set up - i am thinking i can port the bottom of the can and put a fan in, put a 'shelf' in top of the box to store the cords, mods, so it will be 'travel friendly'... either of those psu's should be capable of running a raptor box and a dna200 box simultaneously... and i am going to build one additional raptor box in a horizontal format to use as a build deck at the cave - love my 521 tab, but this will simplify the process a bit (and take da battery out of the equation)

This is why I spent time learning about psychology and depression specifically. What is marketed as depression is the general sense of lacking satisfaction in life, boredom, feeling defeated. This actually is natural and happens from time to time. It is what people use to compare the good.

Next is the starting to withdraw, a feeling that you are the cause of your trouble and not in the responsible taking responsibility way either. You start wanting to do nothing because it is how you avoid even self criticism.

Then, you start managing pain, again not in a healthy way, you treat symptoms not source. The pain can be physical, mental, emotional. It can be real or imagined. Anything may cause it and there is no shame to having it as everyone has a breaking point regarding pain. Humans like other animals do not like pain. "Duh."

Finally you get self harm from 'doping' either with drugs or with so much isolation and shutting down of emotions, you begin self harm just to feel anything again. Self harm in this state is not meant as a desire to hurt yourself. Still you will be hurting yourself. It becomes an addiction, to feel.

Usually, the start and root of depression comes from pain in at least 80% of cases. Physical pain if the source cannot be directly handled can be responsibly managed with diet, exercise and limited medication, meditation/prayer. Mental and emotional can follow track as well, instead of pulling away, engage life. Know that others face similar things as you, it's natural.

And no, I'm not saying all cases follow what I outline. What I'm saying is from my own research a lot do. There is a lot to be done before using medicines too. A good deal of which can at least offer help if not put depression on the run.

Makes me wonder but what big pharmaceuticals are not in upon a eugenics strategy. Use advertising to drum up the idealistic image of status, materialism. Restrict access to the ideal, cause dissatisfaction in the population, use religion to control populace. In this case psychology being the latest religion. The priests of which point to drugs to help 'get over' seeing too much advertisements. Drugs lull people to death, or kill directly. Population controlled, eugenics plan success.

By the by, eugenics was not a Nazi party idea at first. It was first put into play here in good old America. Undesirables were sterilized, caged, exterminated. The dull witted, autistic, down syndrome, those suffering from trauma, the 'ugly', herded to asylums for 'treatment'. http://historynewsnetwork.org/article/1796 That's one source, look up Eugenics in America as a search term in any search engine.

Excuse me.

No. Absolutely not. 12 years ago, as my Tool & Die Cad/Cam company was on life support, I had to find another occupation. I looked at everything, from a bar or stripper bar, to a funeral home (that's the gamut of lively). I had several criteria that must be met. One was that it had to provide some kind of valuable service to humanity, and another was that it must not require skullduggery and ripping people off to succeed.

I did my due dili on Funeral homes. What I discovered still disgusts me to this day. Taking advantage of people at the worst possible time of their life is beyond despicable. What gets done to the corpse of your loved one is unfathomable how we ever started the tradition.

Anyone who claims it can be done honestly and ethically is a lying bastard. My wife and I decided then and there that cremation, with forest burial in a tree seed urn, is our best solution.

I ended up in Environmental cleanup. Pays a fortune, employs the undereducated and tainted backgrounders who need it so bad, and definitely improves the world.
I wasn't considering the ethics of the profession, only the stability of the market. ;)
Appreciate that you stuck to your guns and found something that works for you - and that you believe in giving people with a strike or two in their past a fair shot. :)
I'm about 99% convinced that I just want a Torch & Toss when I go. In 100 years, nobody will know or care that my corpse is sitting in a fancy box with a stone marker anyway, so why bother.

Well, we have taken under advisement all that y'all said about gas water heaters vs. electric, and decided to save the extra money and just get a new gas water heater. Which means we'll have a little $$$ for some other new stuff -- maybe a new flat screen TV for the living room, a mobile phone for me, and that Achilles 2 RDA I want. :)

Andria
Probably a wise choice. Properly installed and vented, gas units are just as safe as electrics. I'd love to have a gas unit to go along with a gas furnace, and maybe even a gas cooktop - but we'd have to have gas pulled into the house. :(

New guests will be offered a seat by the Power Supply?!?
lol! indeed!
not going to go with the acrylic enclosure, but will be using green EL wire on the cables - and found some pretty spiffy green led toggle switches... should be pretty redonkulous when it is all said and done (and not counting the frippery, the build cost is pretty reasonable, especially given that it removes batteries from the equation - thinking the build deck piece is going be a huge plus)

My mom is a perpetual child, which is WHY she's in that wheelchair. 2 broken hips; get up and do the PT? Nope, no how, no way. Diabetes; does she watch her sugar? Nope; no how, no way, so she has legs swollen to about 3 times their normal size. Which of course bothers the arthritis in her knees, so she has a great built-in excuse for WHY she wouldn't get up and do the PT.

I already told my husband that if I ever break a leg or hip, to take the belt to me if necessary to get me out the chair to do the PT so I can get back on my feet. Of course, I surpassed my mom's maturity level when I had my own child and started reading about how to be a GOOD mom -- because I knew I didn't have the first clue, just from watching her.

But hell, whatcha gonna do. She's my only mom, so I love her even if I have zero respect for her.

Andria
Wow Andria, my mom was the SAME way! She had congestive heart failure and would stay in bed ALL day! (She lived with me when she got sick). I finally put a dry erase board in her room with all the exercises she needed to do that day and when I got home from work, she had to have them checked off. Well, that didn't work well so I'd have to be her drill instructor and stand there making her get up and do them. I really didn't get too angry about it because she was a little "nutty" too. lol
Holy crap! Do you live in one of the Plains states? Not sure where a snake like THAT lives, but I AM sick and tired of all these motherfuckin snakes on the motherfucking plains...

BWAAAhaaa! That's pretty funny. I live in Central Texas but there's a creek down the hill and when it rains a lot the snakes come up into MY yard. Blech.
For those Fugees with gender identity issues. You are a very progressive thinker Cromwell, really ahead of your time.

Probably order it Tuesday -- I also xferred $200 from my savings acct, which is from the $650 state tax refund we got back in Feb (so we still have $450 of that, still stashed!)... I'll be ordering the Achilles 2, another liter of nicotine, one of those 4-gal deals from glyCube... and maybe some more 120ml bottles to store the nic in, don't think I currently have enough. And then I gotta figure out exactly how/where in the freezer I'm gonna store another liter, *sigh*.

This is the gizmo I'm plumb tickled with:

Lol.. My H.S. Dawter just struck gold. She discovered my vinyl RECORD (no, bot!) collection. Original pre-apple 45's of The Beatles, and her biggest prize? The White Album. Still has the original poster inside. She posted A pic of it to her FB, and one friend said "Can I come over and just touch it?" Who'd a thunk it..
That's cool!!!! I got a box full of old 45's with original Elvis, the Beatles, all kinds of stuff. My grandmother own a restaurant many years ago and had a jukebox so I have all those records now. Mine aren't worth anything because they're so used and don't have the sleeves anymore. But they're fun to look through. And, they're SO thick too and heavy.

I don't know how y'all DO Texas! Playing golf there recently, I hit the ball off into the scrub. MY BAD going to look for it. Even the PLANTS bite. When I was a wee lad in training at Lackland AFB, I was sitting outside enjoying the sun near a drain culvert. Half falling asleep, Damned if two scorpions don't come sauntering out of that drain pipe! They were half as big as I thought they were, and twice as Holy Shit!

I tossed an old Phillips 312 turntable with MA2002e cartridge awhile back. Old belt drive, and nobody around can service them anymore or has parts. Was a legendary turntable, but it needed some repairs. This dawters musical interests are CONSTANTLY costing me money. For a good cause though, for sure. Picked up a modern one today on Ebay, and it comes with a USB port and FLAC software to exactly copy the output onto my computer while it plays. THAT is kinda cool. Dawter said in exchange for turntable, she will record my entire vinyl catalog. :) Winning!

Mom decided she wants to go to the Japanese Hibachi steakhouse for Mothers day dinner. I looked at H.S. Dawter, and said "Damn, she's kinda rough on a broke assed teenager!" Dawter looks at me like "huh?". I told her, dudette, it is MOTHERS day. WIFE'S day is the OTHER 364.

Always recall an expression we grew up understanding. "It was a mother what brought you into the world, it'll be a mother that takes you out of the world, too."

Momisms - "I can't make another one just like you!"

Man, I avoided using those at all cost in my child rearing days - but it was not as easy to avoid as I speculated

You young whippersnapper!
Good morning, James! :D Had a great time and thanks for all you do, my friend. I have a score of honey-do's to do today, and I know you're up to your elbows in it as well.
That's awesome you have other vape friends to visit. I've got one about 30 miles from here and she's a doll! She taught me to DIY.
