Alien Coil

Question for the coil builders out there. If I want to build an alien coil with 28g cores, do I first rap my clapton that I will decore around a 28g wire or do I still stick with a 26g core.

I wrap my decored wire around the same guage as the cores. So 3 28 gauge core, i wrap around a single 28. I believe there are other ways..but that's the way that works for me.

Everything Ive heard and read and the way Ive always done my Aliens is to wrap the to be decored wire around the same gauge youll use to core the Alien. So if youre gonna do 3 28 gauge Aliens, then start with a 28 gauge clapton.

Aliens are always a 3:1 ratio so yes if your using 3 pieces of 28g youll want to wrap your initial Clapton around 28g not 26.

Question Are any of the pre built coils coming out of china safe to vape and made out of any real vape material like kanthal. I heard all there pre built coils are all mass produce by machine. Can anyone recommend any legit U.S made pre built kanthal coils reseller

All of the Chinese or extremely low price coil bundles are made from cheaper Chinese metals....they dont last and many complain about the tastes from them. If your looking for decent coils that are prebuilt there are a few of us on the forum that have prices much lower then anywhere else but the quality and QC is much much higher. CrazyChef and I use Sandvik wire, which is the cleanest and most durable over time in how we use it, its Smelted in Sweden and milled in the USA.

You wont find a deal like the China coils have, theres no way you could drop the price that low unless its done for free or poor materials used

Like Raymo said, the cheap Chinese coils are exactly that - cheaply made using cheap quality wires. Using Chinese coils is the equivalent of buying that nasty cheap juice that's for sale in the gas stations. Just don't do it. There are far better (and healthier) alternatives available to you.
