Can I use vaping flavors to make my flavor water/drink?

This might be a silly idea but is this safe to use our vaping (DIY) flavors to make refreshing drinks? A friend of mine asked me 'Can he use these flavors in his coffee/milk'? 'Sometime kids don't drink milk so can we use these flavors (which we use for vaping) to add some taste'?

I am vaping from the last one year but honesty I am not sure about this so thought let's ask our VU family?

Please let me know your thoughts, advices, warning and/or ideas. Thanks so much.

Absolutely you can As said above, flavoring was originally made for the food industry, and is still sold as such. A good way to use up flavors you aren't using too :)

If by "flavors" you mean the DIY Flavor Concentrates used to make ejuices, then yes, you can add those to foods/drinks, although I'm not sure how alot of the flavors we vape would taste in milk.
Just don't go mixing ejuice into milk or whatever, because then you will have bad consequences (drinking nicotine, no matter how little, can cause illness).

NOOOOO, according to the FDA, your kids might become addicted to drinking milk, thus leading to vaping, then cigarettes. :giggle:

Seriously, IMO, there's nothing wrong about using the flavors in foods/drinks.

Those flavors that are just sitting there because they don't taste exactly the way you expected or that are just plain nasty in vaping, could be great in water or milk.

You forgot that drinking water may cause an addiction to liquids.

That's a load of horseshit. People have been swallowing nicotine for a couple hundred years or more.

Don't want to sound like a dick, but that's precisely why I used the word "can" and not the word "will". And just because it doesn't usually happen or happen to you, doesn't mean it can't happen to others. It was a blanket statement for everyones health and safety, what they choose to do after that is entirely up to them.

It just depends on the recipe. I think I used a couple teaspoons of flavor. No, the heat didn't effect it but the flavoring was added last.

Agree with your comments (regardless of side effects :))
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paan

but not sure about our DIY ejuice can be use same as chewing /swallowing tobacco/nicotine? of course I will not recommend to my friend.

I put nicotine in the candy I made with TFA. It's fine to ingest by any route, the amount(too much) is what may cause one to feel a bit ill.

To be honest I have never tried it outside of coffee, but like anything that goes at the VU...it is all about one's perspective, and individual tastes of your palate. With that in mind....strawberry, banana, chocolate are fair game for milk. Basically you would have to test your hypothosis, taste your results, keep track of notes and build from there....ummmm...that sounds alot like DIYing lol. Have fun :vino:

This is very interesting, any idea of ratios? doesn't it dilute/ faint the flavor (on fire)? Thanks for sharing your ideas

All of the flavorings we use (from the major houses) are created and sold in bulk volumes for use by ex: bakery product mfgs and confectioners (candy makers). They're safe for ingestion in reasonable amounts. Honestly... it's inhalation that's the question mark.

I'm just not sure it's economical with the prices we pay for our small bottles.
I tried to make a White Russian once when I didn't have any real Kahlua.
The amount of flavor I used seemed like it would be costlier than the real thing.

Then again... I can't claim to have a very discerning palate so I'm not against trying again.

:p

I agree with you it's not always economical but before I wasn't sure can we use our vaping flavors for other purposes? i.e. make flavor water/Drinks or even mixing in milk etc etc but now we have at least idea what to do with our small bottle of flavors which we didn't like or for some change :bingo: Thanks for the reply

Negative ghost rider they have already approved the nicotene gum and lozenges years ago.
I was referring to food we digest on a daily matter, e.g. Eggplants, Potatoes, etc. They all contain Nicotine, although in the Nanno Grams, it's still Nicotine being absorbed, and nobody gives a damn about that!

of course you can. You ingest baking and candy flavorings, and they contain much the same ingredients, even more so, baking flavorings often contain oils. So while they are not suitable for vaping, the other way around is just fine.
