My rta always leaks when on it's side

so, as the topic says.

this thing will never fail ... it will leak no matter what you do when put on its side.

it happened with a friends gemini and we thought he did something wrong.
so we blamed it on him.
we rewicked it - having the cotton just barely entering the juice holes using jap. cotton.

i decided to go home and take mine out of its box and do the same thing.

voila.

absolutely same results on mine as well.

sadly there arent my reports of this. i guess people like the griffin more. (which i also have but havent tried this problem on)

the picture thats attached. this is the result of 30 seconds on its side sitting on a napkin.
longer time = longer leakage.

Probably something wrong with your wicking.

You could also, not place it on it's side/close the AFC/close the JFC when not in use.

Ive done the wicking correctly following vids on youtube

I have one, and haven't had that issue, but there's an easy solution...close the jfc first.

Also make sure your wicking fits tightly into the juice slots at the top of the deck so juice can't seep past and enter the airholes.

If you turn a glass of water upside-down, spoilers....the water will "leak" out

Hey that's a true friend. Friends tank leaks bad and can not fix it so you buy the same tank also and yours is leaking also. That's a friend. Think I would laugh at my buddy and tell him I am buying a different one. LOL

Try splitting the tips of you wick in half. Top half goes into your juice channels and the bottom half wraps back under towards the air hole. So essentially you have two different roles, the juice channel placed wick is your primary feeder and the peice that lays back towards the air inlet is for mopping up any excess juice that makes it past your channel. May help to wick your coil a little tighter than usual as the extra cotton will help. I'll try and find a picture...
