I see what you mean about deceptively simple to build on. It looks really nice except for the having to decide just how you're going build.
Am hoping stipend funding actually kicks over in the direct deposit today. Then I do think I'm going to find as cheap as can on a Dripbox 160, Velocity V2 clone ( probably Tobecco ), maybe some kanthal und rayon. Might if, it can stretch see about some unflavored base juice to start stocking.
Know that may seem backwards. Juice first then gear some could say. Well, maybe so but I kind of need a little decent squonking gear first. Could hold off on the kanthal a little, was wanting to get another gauge to try doing claptons. That can wait.
Eventually, I may have a goon or two. *chuckles* They do look really nice.
Of course, the Dripbox allegedly comes with a Velocity style deck as well as one of the other style ones. May hold off on a Velocity itself, see if Kanger will indeed offer the Velocity style decks for sale. I emailed the sales dept. no reply as of yet.

countdown is on - headed down to the bayou thursday... gotta make sure all the critter prep is done for our pet sitter... sort laundry, pack...
got all of my vape prep done yesterday (priorities, y'know...)
looks like the barrel aged 'nilla custard juice is going to work out like a champ - pulled the flavor/pg mix out of the barrel yesterday, will mix a 500ml batch today and set it on the shelf to steep (smells amazing and the color is excellent) - much more successful than the experiment with just aging VG in the barrel (shit is just too thick for barrel to seal properly - leaks like an overmoderated vape forum)

Anyway, I was about to wish y'all good morning and a hearty GFYs, but my PC decided it was time to reboot.

Just unscrew the base and fill though the juice slots in the chamber.On Merlin, you turn the chimney to close the juice feed holes. I don't yet have a pic of the final one, but there are pics of the prototype on my thread here. We really only changed the drip tip for the production version.

I'm not a fan of bottom filling, but darnit, I am even less of a fan of a mitt full of juice. I'ma DO IT! My normal bottles don't fit down that deep channel, but my brudder gave me some of those needle ones... my brudder gave me.. my brudder gave me.. are we detecting a theme, here?!
