Not sure where you're getting that 300 day number - certainly doesn't apply to the Seattle metro area.. maybe over in the Olympic National Forest area, yes, but not here. I think the record is just over 90 consecutive days with measurable rainfall - but that means that they only had to have .01" in the gauge to count.
No idea either; just something I read *somewhere* *sometime* about the 300 days of rain per year. And every single time I've ever seen pics of Seattle, it's always wet or raining. I would truly hate that. My idea of a good climate is... Aruba!
They're out of the path of most of the Atlantic hurricanes, and generally get very little rain -- a real "desert island". My husband and I moved back to Atlanta from MI back in '90; he';s from St Louis, and he says he likes the climate here for the most part... except that we get so much rain -- when the northern parts of the US get snow in the winter, we usually just get rain. I always say that ATL has just 2 seasons -- rain and hell -- and sometimes they coincide (those ice storms, and the occasional tornado).Andria

It soitainly does! After a couple of injuries to my vertebrae in the L4/L5 area, I have this from time to time in my right hip/leg, and good lord, it's horrible!

If it's in the upper abdom area, might actually be something like ulcer or hiatal hermia or reflux (left side), or gallbladder/liver (right side). And that last one, gallbladder, especially if it hurts all the way thru to the back.

I usually try to "pop" my hip joint -- lie on floor and do the "butterfly" thing with the legs, and try to sit up while the legs are "akimbo" -- I often get a huge loud pop in my right hip, and the pain just vanishes.

Lessens risk. Apparently nicotine is good for lessening or preventing all kinds of cognitive disorders, because of its coordinating effect on neurotransmitters. It also helps depression and anxiety a great deal, for the same reason.

Whole left side here, leg & foot, arm & hand. It stays constantly. I think I have trouble gripping with left hand. According to docs, "oh no, you're just fine". So, me writhing in pain gripping a cotton ball in hand is fine? Okay, sure and I take gabapentin up to 300mg for pain like candy for no reason too. If it gets too bad, I can takean opioid. Tra la la.
Genuinely think it may be my own fault. Dumb mule me, lifted the front of a tractor. Oh well.

Could be -- for much the same reason as nicotine, though caffeine has a greater vasoconstriction effect, which could be counterproductive with brain ailments, or any other organ problems; last thing you want is constricting the tiny capillaries. Nicotine seems quite paradoxical in that it stimulates neurotransmitters, which has a relaxing effect. It's also a vasoconstrictor, but more mildly than caffeine.

I actually didn't mind the weather in MI; it's certainly much colder in the mid-to-north parts of the state, but down around Detroit, it's actually fairly mild, and the summer is so much more pleasant than the hell of ATL summer. I think back to when I was growing up, nobody really had central air then, and my grandmother's furniture would feel *slimey* from the godawful humidity, in July/August. Really glad those days are gone; AC is really necessary in ATL! But I recall the summer that our son was born, we were still in MI, which of course doesn't have much use for central air -- but it was one of those el Nino summers, and we lived on the 2nd floor of an old farmhouse converted to a downstairs and upstairs apts -- just ungodly hot, very unusual for MI. So I bitch about the heat and humidity down here, but as long as you stay indoors, it's perfectly livable.
And it's nice that the summers run on into late September, and not even any frost until late October. By which time, we are more than ready for a break from the heat!Andria

Reimbursement stipend. Wife checked the site of the company that handles it. They do pay outs 15th or 30th of the months they pay out. By the 30th, no more pre-orders i.e. lower prices will be going on for the 160 watt model of the Dripbox. I may need to simply settle for the 60 watt model. Did find out they'll make the Velocity style deck available for sale, and it'll work w/ the 60 watt & 160 watt Subdrip RDA. I had planned on paying maybe $50 for the160 watt one, not much more. If it goes 'off sale' will need to pay at least another $20. For me that's just too expensive. Had also wanted to buy some nicotine, maybe some wire , wick. Plus I like keeping a little back for emergency.
It would be nice to try one of those job things again. Least I would be having a little more vape money. Not much open here though. Don't need to hear move to work. Need money to move on.

I agree with that. You know what. I'm really odd. (I'm sure you ALL know that by now lol) Took a test and I'm exactly 1/2 left and 1/2 right brained. I write music, play 3 instruments, draw, paint....but yet during the day, I write SQL code. Very analytical. My dad was one of those "odd" genius's. (Trust me, I have no where near his iq). He had a great sense of humor, but people in the military called him the human calculator. And he had little quirks. He also couldn't draw a stick figure.
I love Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone. He was a little "off", but imo, a genius.
Maybe it's Costochondritis. Thought I had a cracked rib and that's what it was. Lasted a few months.
