I knew all this. I just figured someone else missed it.. ;) In either case, pictures, Man.
I'm pretty booked up next week, sales calls to Iowa and South Dakota. It would be an awesome ride though, and who knows? If you see a guy aside a red Harley RGU, bent over the seat, wave hello? It could be me saying Howdy.
rofl! you and the backdoor bonjour... smh...

That's what I happily have on my billet to look forward to, though.

Maybe not if you keep vaping nicotine. That's exactly why I won't ever go to 0mg; Alzheimers in my paternal grandmother, senile dementia in my maternal grandmother (15 yrs of not knowing who anyone was, including herself most days).

Does Starbucks deliver? No, no they don't. I don't think they will bring you coffee either. What can we do?!

I need to sit down for a minute and grab a vape

Talk about early-onset old timers, I made coffee this morning (freshly ground Ethiopian Sidamo)

Well ----- when I had the first sip, it became clear that I forgot to rinse the coffee maker after running it through clean mode with vinegar yesterday afternoon :coffee: = :poop:

I'm not going to lie, I'm on day 4 of this fucking cramp in my DIAPHRAGM, or sciatica or whatever the fuck it is, and it is making me physically weary, and I am TIRED of it. Otherwise, great.

Sciatica is pressure on the sciatic nerve on your spine, which typically causes searing, shooting pain in the legs

Diaphragm is for your Mrs to stop creating more baby Moos

Not sure where you're getting that 300 day number - certainly doesn't apply to the Seattle metro area.. maybe over in the Olympic National Forest area, yes, but not here. I think the record is just over 90 consecutive days with measurable rainfall - but that means that they only had to have .01" in the gauge to count. ;) The upside is we don't get that wild extreme weather with any semblance of regularity. No tornadoes or hurricanes, snow only every few years (on this side of the mountains)..

No idea either; just something I read *somewhere* *sometime* about the 300 days of rain per year. And every single time I've ever seen pics of Seattle, it's always wet or raining. I would truly hate that. My idea of a good climate is... Aruba! :D They're out of the path of most of the Atlantic hurricanes, and generally get very little rain -- a real "desert island". My husband and I moved back to Atlanta from MI back in '90; he';s from St Louis, and he says he likes the climate here for the most part... except that we get so much rain -- when the northern parts of the US get snow in the winter, we usually just get rain. I always say that ATL has just 2 seasons -- rain and hell -- and sometimes they coincide (those ice storms, and the occasional tornado).

It soitainly does! After a couple of injuries to my vertebrae in the L4/L5 area, I have this from time to time in my right hip/leg, and good lord, it's horrible!

If it's in the upper abdom area, might actually be something like ulcer or hiatal hermia or reflux (left side), or gallbladder/liver (right side). And that last one, gallbladder, especially if it hurts all the way thru to the back.

I have it too. When a flairup occurs - it's all over but the cryin'

I usually try to "pop" my hip joint -- lie on floor and do the "butterfly" thing with the legs, and try to sit up while the legs are "akimbo" -- I often get a huge loud pop in my right hip, and the pain just vanishes.

Hm, the nicotine lessen risk of it, or brings it on quicker?

Lessens risk. Apparently nicotine is good for lessening or preventing all kinds of cognitive disorders, because of its coordinating effect on neurotransmitters. It also helps depression and anxiety a great deal, for the same reason.

Whole left side here, leg & foot, arm & hand. It stays constantly. I think I have trouble gripping with left hand. According to docs, "oh no, you're just fine". So, me writhing in pain gripping a cotton ball in hand is fine? Okay, sure and I take gabapentin up to 300mg for pain like candy for no reason too. If it gets too bad, I can takean opioid. Tra la la.

Genuinely think it may be my own fault. Dumb mule me, lifted the front of a tractor. Oh well.

Huh. Interesting. I was also told two cups of coffee a day is alright too, wards off Parkinson's.

Mine manifests pain in the left hip , as I'm arthritic on both sides, it makes for a wonderful exercise in pushing the limits of human endurance, lol

Could be -- for much the same reason as nicotine, though caffeine has a greater vasoconstriction effect, which could be counterproductive with brain ailments, or any other organ problems; last thing you want is constricting the tiny capillaries. Nicotine seems quite paradoxical in that it stimulates neurotransmitters, which has a relaxing effect. It's also a vasoconstrictor, but more mildly than caffeine.

I think that's one of the biggest myths about Seattle: it's always raining. It's not. We get our share, to be sure, but we're in a very temperate climate zone so we don't get the big swings of seasons like you would back in MI. 70's and 80's in the summer, 30's and 40's in the winter. On the other side of the mountains, it's hotter summers and colder winters; the Cascades are truly a divide between two completely different climates. Every summer we do an astronomy event/camping trip to the other side and enjoy the heck out of it.

Yeah, I'd like to live somewhere warmer with less clouds and rain, but on the whole, I love it here. Aruba is great to visit, but not sure I'd want to live there. ;) :D

I actually didn't mind the weather in MI; it's certainly much colder in the mid-to-north parts of the state, but down around Detroit, it's actually fairly mild, and the summer is so much more pleasant than the hell of ATL summer. I think back to when I was growing up, nobody really had central air then, and my grandmother's furniture would feel *slimey* from the godawful humidity, in July/August. Really glad those days are gone; AC is really necessary in ATL! But I recall the summer that our son was born, we were still in MI, which of course doesn't have much use for central air -- but it was one of those el Nino summers, and we lived on the 2nd floor of an old farmhouse converted to a downstairs and upstairs apts -- just ungodly hot, very unusual for MI. So I bitch about the heat and humidity down here, but as long as you stay indoors, it's perfectly livable. :D And it's nice that the summers run on into late September, and not even any frost until late October. By which time, we are more than ready for a break from the heat!

I'm weary from the testosterone fueled intellectual posturing in the Boreas thread

Hurry, everyone, go post your IQ and current status with Mensa.

Hahaha

It is a freakoid thread for sure, but somehow I really like it despite the extremes it takes

I don't even mind MOST (not all) of the pissing contests

Usually, a thread gets catty, I'm outta there

I will have to say that there is a lot of dick measuring going on over there.

I pointed that out once (using those words pretty much) and got what I consider the funniest response to a post possibly ever in the history of the internet

With one of the chicks, too.

Thanks to modern technology, anyone can be an e-dick

I don't like bragging. I've never had any urge whatsoever to join Mensa. Or to show off my mods/vehicles/blah blah blah. I'm just shaking my head.

I guess posting your IQ is about insecurity.

Amen sister!!!! I especially love the posts with 100 guns in the picture with their mods. I'm a firm believer in guns, but treat them like the weapons that they are and don't brag about them. It's like, look at all the guns I have at my house.

Yikes. Well, I guess I don't need to read it. They should have a thread just for bullshit.

Don't forget the prescription piss off debacle that got spun off of there

It pissed me off, mainly because one of my posts got put in the new thread and I wasn't even part of the conversation

Dick measuring? Hmmm, I'll have to head over there and get measured, I bet I have 'em all beat. After all, the ladies always let out a gasp when they see it. Well, except that lady cop who told me if I opened up my trenchcoat one more time she was gonna taser it.

Ok, it's in the small of my back, right side. I can be comfortable in most any position, it's getting there that's a killer. Last time I got this, it lasted a week and doc told me diaphragm charley horse. Huge muscle, lots of pain. Or, it could be the vajayjay...

If you have a pain in the vajayjay you should consult your surgeon

Also, large boobs cause back pain, something else to talk to your Dr. (chop or iguana, either will do) about

You should be able to use your coil measuring calipers for that job :shades:

:cuss2: Reimbursement stipend. Wife checked the site of the company that handles it. They do pay outs 15th or 30th of the months they pay out. By the 30th, no more pre-orders i.e. lower prices will be going on for the 160 watt model of the Dripbox. I may need to simply settle for the 60 watt model. Did find out they'll make the Velocity style deck available for sale, and it'll work w/ the 60 watt & 160 watt Subdrip RDA.

I had planned on paying maybe $50 for the160 watt one, not much more. If it goes 'off sale' will need to pay at least another $20. For me that's just too expensive. Had also wanted to buy some nicotine, maybe some wire , wick. Plus I like keeping a little back for emergency.

It would be nice to try one of those job things again. Least I would be having a little more vape money. Not much open here though. Don't need to hear move to work. Need money to move on.

Kind of limited too in what I'm supposedly allowed to do, and not driving myself. Had Wife ask a few places. She has not said any were looking for workers. Thinks she just aims on me being kept. *shrugs*

Not sure I care for that. Not for any chauvinistic reasons though. I was just brought up you pay your way as you go. Don't like feeling unable to do that, to help her in that way.

Frustrated with being frustrated.

Seems there is two kinds of Brains. The "I can remember, calculate, reason, analyze, etc. etc." brain. Usually driven by wanting to do it better, faster, cheaper, more logically, whatever.. that seems to come with wiring in their SHORTS. Sadly, they seldom also get the gifts of creativity, natural talent except for the cerebral aspect. Then there are the artists, the poets, the song writers, musicians, and a cadre of others who benefit from the Left Side Brain. Some of those also get the analytical brain, and can be spectacular. But this group is more prone to come with shorts in their wiring. It is what it is. There is a fine line between genius and crazy.
I agree with that. You know what. I'm really odd. (I'm sure you ALL know that by now lol) Took a test and I'm exactly 1/2 left and 1/2 right brained. I write music, play 3 instruments, draw, paint....but yet during the day, I write SQL code. Very analytical. My dad was one of those "odd" genius's. (Trust me, I have no where near his iq). He had a great sense of humor, but people in the military called him the human calculator. And he had little quirks. He also couldn't draw a stick figure.
I love Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone. He was a little "off", but imo, a genius.
