Went golfing, washed the car, lil yard work.....now the day is quickly ending......
It was a dreadful day. Started with a lil target work in the yard, then I yanked the cord outta the pressure washer trying to start it for the Mrs., so I had to McGyver THAT pos, jumped on my bike to release the bad JuJu, and got home to find that the Mrs. was waiting for me on the boat. I got there not a second too soon, for a nice pre-dinner cruise with Vino, then finished the "day" in the twilight with a lil more target practice. I think I made plenty of noise today.
The view from "under the canopy". GREAT place to go and read, and listen to the music, when it is raining out. Nobody knows I'm there, so peaceful and private. I love winter, but mang, Summer is without compare. It's always been a favorite haunt for the Mrs. and the kids too. Just crawl on up into the boat, and fire up the tunes.

No, it has a public launch. There's about 4 miles of dirt road to get to it though, so nobody brings nice boats or jet ski's. Pretty much just fishermen, and they disappear into the shoreline. It's a super quiet lake. The Mrs. and I, being party animals, have spent MANY a night out on it, sometimes into dawn and have never encountered a neighbor, or ANYone for that matter, out after 11pm on it. 2 neighbors have float planes, and they have no trouble with traffic on the lake, getting in and out.
Now the fish, THOSE bastards could be a lot more accommodating. Our last lake was private, and I could catch big Bass and Pike all day long. THESE fokkers are experienced though, but I do have some friends that have no trouble with em. They just don't like me or something, and I've mostly given up the sport. With the kids grown, it just doesn't have the same appeal.
I am afraid to look in the box. I might be in there!A Quantum Cromwell.

I had that thought last night
They can gang up on me to insult my IQ, which is less than 181.
Similar here Mo....when the kids were young we went fishing, boating, jet skiing, camping, hunting....I sold the boat, have two jet skis in the garage I haven't used in two years.
Oh hellz, THAT is a PITA. Done that. Not easy getting that old gas outta those ski fuel cells. The engine compartment on those things are made for TINY little hands. Last year the ski went in and the boat didn't. The old boat interior didn't survive 2 winters and a summer under shrink wrap. Mold city. Looks like the day I bought her now, all new vinyl, carpet and chrome and a complete rub out. I won't do THAT again. Putting em in and taking em out once a year is WAY less work, than changing interiors or trying to siphon old gas outta tanks that don't let siphons IN. Nobody but me seemed to care anymore about the watercraft, till I let em go, and threatened to sell them. All of a sudden, everyone wants to go to the lake again. Fine by me! I love family time on the water.

I ended up having an ok day. Didn't do steaks for dinner after all, was impatiently awaiting a call from my son, so I didn't wanna go to the store and maybe miss it. So we had pizza, another excellent choice for birthday dinner. Which also means I don't have to do anything to make my husband's lunch except put a couple slices in a tupperware bowl. And finally got the call from the kiddo who turned 28 himself on the 19th.
Got the strawberry & cream mixed. The nearly-2-yr-old nicotine was as clear as any I've used. Detected no odor, so I guess it'll taste ok, though I won't be getting into that fresh mix for a couple days. At 4mg, it would have to be pretty awful to be tasted at all.
We may do steaks for dinner tomorrow night, since we didn't tonight for my b-day.

The last birthday that mattered to me was the one that my daughter was born on 23 yrs ago! Too bad the package she came in is still so fucked up! So much so that my daughter refers to her as the egg donor!

Another May Taurus is Craig Ferguson, May 17, one of the funniest humans who has ever lived... and my son is right up there too; he's been cracking me up since he was about a week old. Somehow I managed to delay my entrance to be a Gemini, and I'm very Gemini-like, the whole "born to communicate" thing... apparently I haven't stopped talking since I was about 10 months old.
But there's a bit of Taurus in me too, being so near the cusp; I do have my stubborn side, as illustrated by my refusal to EVER forgive ECF or go back there. One of the best side effects I've found from switching to vaping is that I can actually hit Ann Wilson's notes -- haven't been able to do that in 35 yrs, till I knocked off the coffin nails!
But, I've also lost the low range I had as a smoker. That's ok -- I sound like a female again! Andria
Kind of saw that as true here just a little ago. I was joking around with my wife. Showed her the coil on the RSST. "Look dirty," I asked her. Not sure how many tanks I had run through it.
She said it looked dirty. Well, I figured it would need changing sooner or later anyway, preferably later.
Darn thing quit firing. I jokingly fussed at her. "You cursed my coil."
I find difficulty in putting a new coil on it. My fingers get so fumbled. Well, .. I got a bit impatient and frustrated. So did she. I was being the bull in the China shop.
Genuinely did not mean to seem I was fussing at her. I'm getting the cold and quiet wheedle girl routine. She go to bed, piddling with one of her games on the tablet.
Back to using T-dux 4 & evods til I get a different kit ordered. Or, until I can not be frustrated with putting a coil on the damn RSST.

Totally agree with that.
I'd just be delighted if it comes this week, but I ain't holding my breath.But, I do have some vapemail coming tomorrow -- purple CF4 I bought from Skullz, and a new purple driptip to go with it, plus a new angled adapter for when the Achilles DOES get here.

I've never had or tried a genny; it looks a lot harder than just wrapping a piece of wire around a drillbit and sticking some cotton in it. Friday I had to replace the coil in my Achilles in which I vape my strawberry & cream; I have to dry-burn about every 12-15ml, and after a few weeks of that, the coil just looks like charcoil instead of metal.

Yep, this one is for sure a touch harder. Need to squash the washer on the spring of the positive pin, capture a bit of the coil leg, tighten the positive pin and hope the leg stays caught. You need to not twist the wire back on itself or get the coil too close to the positive pin. Real fun to do when nerves decide your fingers are going to do other things.
This is why I'm looking forward to ordering a Velocity V2 kit. Plop the coil legs into big wide holes, turn grub screws and capture them. Run wick through if the ohms check out, vape on. Need to see a video of how a Goon is built on but figure it is kind of similar. May even find me buying a Goon. Like stuff that is easy to build like that, less frustration.
Update: Saw a few videos rebuilding a Goon style deck. Spanky is correct, deceptively simple to build on, they seem being. Simple enough to build on, until you come to deciding how you're setting the build up. Then, you get fooled by the volume of choice being outstanding.
