Istick pico/ new to vaping

hey all, I'm pretty new to vaping and am just wondering if anybody can give me some dos and don'ts about vaping. Right now I'm using the istick pick from eleaf, I've gotten some advice from local shop owners and all which was much appreciated. Right now I have the .5ohm coil in there with an lg 18650 4000mah battery. I also have a 2500 mAh battery and .3 ohm Atlantis coils as well. I'm just wondering what's the best stuff to run with this mod. I'm big on flavor and find about 30w seems to tickle my taste buds especially with this tortoise blood/ red starvurst flavor combo I'm using now. I have noticed the mod gets a little hotter with the 4000mah battery after chain vaping compared to the 2500mah/ .3 ohm combo. Any advice from more seasoned vapers? Cut down significantly on cigs since I started too which is awesome!

I have the Pico, and use 2500 mah bats with a GS tank 1.5 ohm coils mine sets good for me at 10-13 watts get good flavor on my juices

Sorry that was a typo on my part, it's the 3000mAh lg hg2 battery and the other is the 2500 lg he4. I have the Mello 3 tank (not the mini) on it now because that's what it came with. So basically, I can use coils above 1 ohm with this device as well? I'm a big flavor guy too. What tanks are the best to use if I'm gonna use +1 ohm coils and can the mello handle those as well? Again, I'm fairly new to everything

You can use whatever coils will fit the melo tank (which includes Atlantis/Triton coils). And, yes, you can use coils above 1.0 ohm. My absolute favorite liquid tastes best on a 1.5 ohm coil running at 22 watts.

If 'huge clouds' aren't a big priority, I'd definitely try higher-ohm coils. Your battery will last longer and many flavors taste better.

i got a pico about a month ago - did my research and noticed that folks mentioned that lots of other coils could be used in the melo III mini tank so I spent some time searching the forum and found lists of them in these threads:

and

I ended up buying Aspire Atlantis coils for my first round of replacement coils because I got them at a really great price - like under a buck apiece but I know I will try many of the other types on the list. You will have to read through the lists but there really are a ton of choices

Hope this helps and many thanks to the original posters of the threads above : @f1r3b1rd & @georgemeadal
