I'm going to start getting into building soon and was wondering, I have a very good quality digital multi meter at home. Can i just check resistance of builds with that? And how do I do so if I do it?
Negative post that coil is attached to? I watched a video where you could go to the red to center pin and black to the threaded section of the atomizer. And my dmm only reads tenths. What is the sole purpose of checking the resistance?
What is the purpose of checking the build before putting it on a mod? Or is there not one? I only use regulated mods.
its not as important on regulated mods. on mech mods, the coils resistance determines the wattage and amp draw, which is a big deal. What is the purpose of checking the build before putting it on a mod? Or is there not one? I only use regulated mods.

i quickly corrected that as soon as i hit the reply button lol oopsAnd the current you're pulling from the batteries.
yup thats pretty much true. i was simply answering your question as to what the exact purpose was for checking it.I understand the mech thing. But for regulated I riguredon't it wasn't a big deal because the mod won't do more than its designed for. And has protection features for shorts and what not
