I have IPV D3 with Herkales sub ohm tank... I just idk, I feel like it's not any good...
When going to vape shops locally, I see people with really cool big box mods and blowing large clouds and stuff...
I cannot really do that with my setup, I feel like it's kinda poor.
I seen cool mods with like big touch screens and stuff....I really enjoy vaping I guess and it's a habbit.
Should I just save my money or is there like any really good cool setups actually worth investing in ?

How do you like the vape when you are by yourself and not comparing your set up to someone else's?

If it tastes great and keeps up with your style of vaping, don't worry about how cool other people's vapes are.

The Herakles is supposed to be a pretty sweet vape....

I have a herakles and it's a kick ass tank. Your setup sounds pretty nice. I don't have the ipv d3 but ipv usually makes decent mods. That setup should be blowing decent clouds. Like Lucy said don't worry about others and there crazy setups. If your vape satisfies you, that's all that matters. Me, I'm just hooked to buying vape stuff...lol;)

Hahahaha, me too.

I used to think my setup weren't good enough to compared to others too but soon discovered that a lot of the stuff I admired or thought was better really wasn't or wasn't for me anyway :)

Nev and Lucy summed it up nicely, if you like what you have then stick with it.

If you want to build a collection and have the money then go for it!

Vape gear is coming in hot with the August 8th scare. For example, the Sigelei 213 just came out and there is already the Sigelei 213 Fuchai inbound for 20 to 40 bucks cheaper. Same thing with the IPV5 and the IPV6.

I think we all get a little (or a lot) of "mod envy"

Me too.

But really, I can't think of a single purchase I regret that I bought after careful consideration as to whether it would actually improve my vaping experience.

I do have a few I regret after jumping on a bandwagon too quickly though - more than a few

I agree with the others that if you are happy, that's all that really matters. However if you are looking to get a nicer mod for your collection, I'd suggest a Hcigar VT133 (DNA200 chip). I really like mine and they are being blown out by Ecig.com atm for~$80 with a coupon code.

Cheers,
Steve

I agree with the vt133 being a bad ass mod for such a good price. I just ordered my second one. Couldn't resist at that price. DNA 200 board is the best in the vape game. But it all comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I found DNA technology unnecessary for my vape style and a potential PITA.

I was gifted a wonderful DNA devise and have never used any of those features and vape it beautifully w/o ungrading, etc.

The dna200 isn't for everyone. It can be a pita for some. Me personally, I've been loving it. Learning escribe and messing with the settings. It's a huge learning curve for me but it keeps me busy and keeps me from looking for new things to buy..lol not really but hey.. that's my story and I'm sticking to it..

I can't remember so I'm going to ask. Did you ever get a chance to load the Ecig file? If so, did you find it helpful? I agree with you 100%, since buying my first DNA200, I haven't bought another mod (unless you count more DNA200's :D:giggle:)

Cheers,
Steve

I did load it up already and found it real helpful. I should be getting ss wire today so I'll be able to test the tc in ss. Only have kanthal at the moment. That file was really helpful. Made setting up the vt133 easy. 25r seem to perform well and so do hg2. Man I love this thing. Now we're is that ss wire so I can build and do some tc.

< I am now very confused since I have no idea about any of the chipsets and that stuff... I just use the default and vape lol...
So the new RX200s looks kinda nice, but it's the same as the old RX just an inch bigger screen and cost almost twice as much lol

Bumping this lol...
Soo... I am letting into temptation and gonna get new setup.
What would be like a really good tank+mod thats not overly priced and relatively new?

What do you usually vape at?

The new Merlin is an amazingly versatile RTA that will do well on almost any mod capable of firing your build

I vape 3-6 MG. Usually 70 watts because my vapes max is 80.
My vape only has 1 battery in it so it dies fast, one reason I want a new vape....
I wouldn't mind vaping above 80 watts though.

I meant what ohms you vape at, also do you build?

I'm using .6 ohms right now and I don't ... I looked at the tank you recommended, the wick systems confuse me a little... Like do you have to somehow replace the cotton stuck under there? I was just looking for a really great Tank / Mod. I really think RX200 looks good but are there better for around the price, maybe a little more ?

Maybe check out 3Fvape, vapenw, ecig.com and see what mods/tanks they have. A ton of options out there and you might see something you like, then go to youtube and check out some reviews by known reviewers. Good luck, and let us know what you end up with.

Thanks for the sites.
