I believe the update of the IPV D3 is the IPV D3S

Also IPV6 already has it's updated model announced. It's the IPV6 X

Yeah, the IPV6 does look familiar but its using a Yihi chip. That IPV6 sure looks familiar. The D3s is exactly like the D2, D3 excpet they added the SX Pure setting. I got to try the pure tank and I didn't like it at all.

When they were first talking about the IPV D3S they were saying it was going to have an adjustable TCR. I don't know what happened to that. IMO that would have been the only reason to consider it.
In all honesty, I lost interest in P4Y after the IPV3 Li.

I've progressed with P4U and they aren't perfect buy my own devices have been. The IPV5 is a solid device with excellent features. In that price range there really is currently no better mod IMHO. TC was anemic and lacking flavor until I upgraded to the IPV5. These two brand new RX200S sitting here don't even come close.
Sorry, I meant that I upgraded from my older P4U mods to the IPV5, not that I upraded the firmware.I love my IPV5 and use it daily. However, I have not updated it because the only one I've seen to date is for the POS pure nonsense.
