I have 2 inside dogs, one monster outside that kills anything that moves. I'm still working with him though. He's getting older and I'm trying my best to calm him down.

Well, Sherlock ... I'm at the ends with him. He is fine one time with others. The next he's full on attack. There is nothing said, done, energy is all calm and in control. He may have gotten dropped on his head during birth. Not sure why he is like he is. So, wife has to find him a rescue place, or I'll have to deal with it.

Rather not but don't know what else to do. He is not a bad dog, he's just too strung out and unpredictable. Not a thing done any different with him than the others. The others are fine, old lazy bone hounds, just happy to hang around, do half listen to you.

Anyone wants a high energy hound, welcome to him. He's more Gold lab than Great Pyrenees / Airedale. Figure he may be fine a hunting hound if put to it. We do not hunt though, even if we did it would not be enough to quell him. Give me a shout, we'll arrange him coming to a good home. Rather see that.

My dog is not "rescue able" . I was told that several years back. He's pretty vicious and was just going to be put down. Spent a couple grand keeping him alive. He's calmed down so much in his older years, but he's still "wild". I actually caught this dog in a trap. Skinny, buckshot in his back. I'd sit on the ground and say "boney". Come here. His name morphed into Barney. But, he's still wild. And I just cannot trust him with my small dog. He gets all his shots but it still disturbs me that he's in the backyard. :( He and Max (the horse) used to play, but now, the horse is gone and imo he deserves more. So, I've been trying to "adapt" him to household life. One day at a time.

Rut Row. Too late.........:zombie:

Yeah. Too late even before they tried. Removed brain to avoid zombies. They don't like eating kidneys. Kidneys now do my thinking.

I have sat, loved, disciplined, ignored he still is unpredictable. He still won't listen. He remains skittish. He will not come to me, or anyone. He comes close to coming to me but stops. We got tennis balls, racket thinking we would get him into playing, get him wound down. Hell no, he's afraid to even bother. But they chase cars, trucks, dear.. smh

Okay, today's amusing anecdotes:

I got locked out of the animal shelter because of a real bear scare and those fuckers inside shuttered everything while I was out back having a vape - so I was damn near a martyred

Two: I accidentally epoxied my wedding ring to my finger

I bet you could ask 100 million people how their day went, and not find one answer even close to what you endeared.

I haven't seen any brownies this year myself, but I guess they are periodically marauding through town. I have seen quite a few black bears though

This is some silly signage up as you head into town. Apparently the brown bears (Grizzlies) are out from 7a.m.-7p.m. Monday through Saturday only.

woot! yeah - i have gotten pretty spoiled on the SS wire...

I need to coil an atty I use a lot - I did a dripper last night and dripping is not in my regular rotation at all

I will say I did drip a lot more last night than I intended, then some more this morning just to make sure it was as good as I remembered, lol
