Looking to take things to the next step and need suggestions!

I have been vaping for a few months now and I have been doing some research into the hobby and I'm ready to take things further.

When I began, I got an Aspire ET-S clearomizer and Evod Twist II battery. Currently I am using a Joyetech eGo AIO. I usually use the tank, but sometimes I drip. Well, I am loving cloud chasing and would love to eventually get into RBA's. I am looking to get a box mod kit with tank that I can get used to using before I begin all that. However, I would like to have the capability to change the tank eventually as well. I am looking for big cloud and flavor production and the ability to control the settings and air. Two kits that have really caught my eye are the Smok H Priv kit and Kanger Dripbox. However, I want to know if anyone has other suggestions for what I'm looking for (or if you agree with one of the options I listed). I would also like to be able to get prebuilt coils. While I am fine with 18650's, I'd love to have a mod with built in battery. I also think it's good to mention that while my budget is flexible, I would love to keep things under $60.

Thanks!!

I do most of my buying on eBay, just because I have PayPal. I used to buy from MyVaporStore...it's a reputable company.
I saw a guy with a Pegasus/Nautilus setup. He seemed happy with it.

I would not get a mod with a build in battery, due to the following reasons. Once the battery fails, you have to get a new mod, which might be impossible, due to the FDA's regulations. I'd rather get a mod that utilizes 18650 batteries, and has at least the ability to go up to 100W. 18650 batteries will be available, even with FDA's regulations. There are several box mods out there to choose from.

I couldn't agree more with Neunerball on this. Also, with a built in battery you can't take a spare batt with you and swap them out plus some of the onboard charging systems are not the best.

Does that have an option to control in just wattage mode rather than TC? I would like to get into TC but I'm more used to wattage for now.

It does variable wattage too. Most mods that do TC do VW also, but I think there are a couple that don't. Check out a couple of reviews on it before you buy it. I usually get a much better idea of what I'm getting when I do that.

Yup, you can just use it in wattage mode and not have to deal with the TC part until you feel like it. It comes with a kanthal and SS coil, so if you want to try TC, you can use the SS in TC or wattage mode

They also just released an 18650 version, it is only 70W or 75W but that's standard on single 18650 mods

I've been happy with my istick tc100w so far. With the update it does up to 120w, has an option to run in single battery mode (not all dual battery mods do) which limits it to 75w. The tc works really well, it handles stainless steel coils in tc as well as titanium and nickel. Fairly comfortable in the hand but that may be subjective. It's pretty cheap, only $30 for the mod. A set of decent batteries can be had for around $10-12 for something like samsung 25r's or lg's he2/he4.

Some people don't like charging the batteries in the device, but it does a pretty good job of it and would hold you over in the meantime if you want to save on having to get a charger up front. Not that chargers are super expensive but a pair of extra batteries and a charger is going to add around $20 to the overall price. Basically a replaceable battery mod that can be charged up like a built in battery.

Maybe start off with a tank with a standard 510 pin that uses factory replacement coils then consider a rebuildable? I haven't used one of the tanks that use premade coils but offer a rebuildable deck accessory though from what I've heard they're pretty small and fiddly. Might be best to get one meant for rebuilding when you're ready to try it, a lot of rda's (drippers) around $10-12 you could try building coils on.
