Is this a good set up for someone who is a bit inept?

A few months ago I sent my best friend / boyfriend a Provari 3 stealth, I LOVED IT so I sent it to him along with a big bag of cartos thinking it would be the easiest way to go.

WRONG. He is having so much trouble filling them, Ive sent him videos galore, photos etc. Im afraid he is hurting himself more with burnt cartos than the pack a day of cigarettes.

I just got a NEBOX starter kit , replacement heads, all the stuff etc.

My cousin has one and I got to try it out and its fantastic. She has a very busy, hectic life and does not have the time for fussing with rebuilding or dealing with fiddling with devices. She just needs it to feed her the nicotine and enjoy the flavor.

I have a pretty good arsenal of highend and lowend, mechs and regulated etc. This NEBOX is just as good as anything I own. I was very impressed.

I hope he can figure it out. I never forced him to give up on smoking, Im not that kinda girlfriend. He is who he is, and we fell for each other as smokers. Im not willing to give him up :)

He seemed interested as he is 10 years older than I am and he wants to be with me for as long as he can ( poor soul, I pity him )

I think the NEBOX is a no stress , easy "on the go" device so Im crossing my fingers and I hope he can get into it. Ive sent him bottles ( 400ml of liquids ) so he should be set for a while.

Any tips and or concerns I should be armed with as far as possible problems?

Id appreciate it, its hard because he is 1000's of miles from me and I cant just set him up with daily needs so he doesnt have to wurry his purdy little head over such stuff.

I probably seem like such a nice girlfriend and I try to be, but this also means I can ask him to send my P3 Stealth back home to me..... YEAH !!!!! talk about alterior motives

in all honesty, I have had the best luck with a simple regulated mod and either a silo beast or aspire triton2 or any tank that takes aspire atlantis/triton coils
they range from mouth to lung - 1.8w to direct lung 0.3 watts and are top fill, so there is zero thinking involved, set the mod, and that's it.
the .3 an .4 will run in stainless steel tc or power mode.
I find a joyeche evic mini, with the tank as a good starter kit that can be used long term, should their vaping style migrate, as that happens often/

You don't think the Triton 2 might not be a little fidgety for someone who is new/inept?

It's not a hard tank in the scheme of things, but you do have a lot of adjusting to do to fill it and vape it. I burned the shit out of my first try on it when it first came out, lol.

I don't know squat about the Nebox so will keep my piehole shut on that one.

I think the Neebox is pretty simple. It holds 10mls and if he's just starting out, that should hold him over for a while. Speaking as another dummy, the only place I can see him running into problems is with coil changing but there are YouTube videos for that.

Thank you @skt239 , I went over a few of the videos and it did seem pretty easy. Ive been trying to find something super easy, but not having tried them myself was hesitant.

I know there are tons of simple devices out there, but this one seemed all around like a good one.

If my cousin likes it and uses the hell out of it and she is really hard to please. If it leaked she'd throw it out the window as she has extremely high taste in clothes and accessories. She would not put up with that. She is a professional makeup artist to the stars and travels all over the world.

SHe pays more on her little travel pouch and wallets than I have on my mods all together. So if it leaked in her Prada bag or 1000 dollar blouse.....

I think once its set, it lets them start at mouth to kung and go all the way into heavy cloud chasing never needing another financial investment other than coils, should they not want to.
the only figity part is the the same as a nautilus, assuming they leave the top afc closed.

you have a very calid point though, which is why I mentioned the silo beast,
its much simpler to deal with, only has one bottom afc and no juice flow control. but its 40$ versus the 20$ for the triton.
if the op has the money, go with the silo beast all the way.

I think a Nebox is pretty foolproof as long as you keep it on its side - it has a tendency to leak when left upright. The downside for a new vaper is that it's tricky to change flavors since the tank isn't removeable. I keep one flavor in it, because its my purse mod, so for me it's not an issue.

Well, here is an update..

Boyfriend (Mike) got this Nebox, managed to get it up and running. He did drip some juice down where youre not supposed to, thank goodness it was just a bit. Primed the coil and its up and running. He really likes this so much better. iTs small and simple.

Hopefully he wont fiddle so much that he messes things up. He is a man and if there are setting , he wants to use them all.

I GOT MY P3 Stealth back too!!!! Im happy and hes happy , were all happy , for the moment.

Hey, if there are settings, they are SUPPOSED to be fiddled with! How do you know you've set it right if you don't play with ALL the settings?

Glad to hear he likes the mod, hopefully it will be enough to keep him from smoking!

Glad he likes it! As I said, it behaves well as long as you don't leave it standing up!

Thank you AmandaD, when you say "dont leave it standing up" should he put it on its side? He was hoping he could pocket it. Upside down? :)

I lie mine down at home and put it on its side in my purse. Yes I'd try it upside down in a pocket - I once didn't and had small leak in the pocket of my jeans :p

Wismec TC75 and Cleito tank .4ohm Clapton coil at 30-35 watts is awesome- go for the new stainless steel coils and you can mess around with TC if you want to but you won't have to. This setup is VERY pocketable.

qorax reviewed them..... I'm a fan of erl, but not enough of a fan as to try this.

I too, would not chose it for myself, but it does look like its pretty much fool proof. You just pop the mouthpiece/ cartridge/ pod and vape.

I dont like its looks, dont like the fact that even though some say you can refill the "pods" ( sorry, I hate the idea of Pod pepple )

I dont like the way it seems to have to be held. I cant tell if the firing is a button or switch on the sides or if its like other cig alikes that you just inhale.

Ive been very tempted with the KF5 for myself.

The originals and I never got along. Maybe its because I was not very experienced with anything other than cartos, Vivi Novas and Odysseus's.

It was always 50/50 for me to get a good build on the KF, either it was dryish, gurgles, and occasionally perfect. When I got it right I loved it.
I could deal with some gurgle, but dry hits kill my throat.

The KF5 has juice control so thats a great big plus. It looks great too. Im really tempted to get at least the KF mini V3 for my MCR SLs ( 20mm ) so I can take it out and about. Right now Ive got the MCR 303 ( genesis's) which I love but its not a very travel friendly set up.
