So i am new to rtas in general and i have a concern about using stainless for coils.
Ive set up my first stainless coil and flavor is excelent but ive noticed the juice start getting a blue tint. I use juice that has only a slight yellow tint from the juice bottle. Same juice ive been buying and using.

Coil build is .15 vaping 50watts at 500 degrees
Any idea why my juice is getting a blue tint?

was the wire (coil) cleaned or might it have had oil on it from production? (just a stab in the dark since I haven't had the problem you described)

I got the wire from advance vape supply and used thier youtube video to dry fire and set up the coils. Im just concerned about safety. I dont care if the juice turns neon green as long as the flavor is good and its still safe to vape.

I've been using their wire for a few months now, mostly SS316L Clapton, Fused Clapton, etc... It's always been really clean, no oil, etc...I do clean it though..

In any case, I've not experienced anything like that...even after running lots of juice through the tanks....Was the RTA new, and was it cleans as well?

Assuming everything was cleaned, and you've had this ejuice before, I'm at a loss. The only color change I have seen is the juice getting a few shades darker, but that's after I chain vape a bit and the RTA heats up....

Good point... i was wondering what color orings are in the tank? Maybe a reflection?

IMO, it's the glass of the tank making it look blue from this angle. Somewhat like using a prism, to make rainbow colors. You probably won't see a blue, when looking straight at the tank (90* angle).
I agree. The orings in my Griffin take on a blue-green appearance looking through the juice at the bottom of the tank.

yea, Boreas is all clear or black orings. That looks like the normal light refracting through liquid and glass to me. I get the same blue in some of my tanks. No worry's man, its safe. Vape on.

I would only be concerned if you were looking straight through the juice and it had a tint.
Since it shows only on the top layer it's not the juice but either scattering or refraction augmenting a part of the spectrum (in this case shorter wavelengths) making it appear tinted.
