Hello mates

I am new to TC mode, and I have a question regarding the best setting for my Wismec DNA200 mod.
Currently I purchased MKWS 316L Stainless Steel with 24 AWG coils, on my Griffin25 I made dual coils and resistance is 0.12 ohms.
I downloaded SS136 /Elite from steam engine and it gives me poor vapor.
So I searches and downloaded a CSV file which is attached. I am not sure if its ok or not.
My config is 40W with 80W preheat at 4.9 for 1s at 450F.
May someone instruct me what shall I set correctly to have big clouds and enjoyable vape on this device for the mentioned coils? I mean all wattage and preheat parameters and temperature with correct CSV.
Any kind help is highly appreciated.

That is a chart with the tcr values used also you may want to try the file for 316l.

Keep in mind, tc is going to be build dependent. In other words the large the mass of metal the more accurate, with 24g round wire. I would go 9/10 wraps at 3mm diameter, and shoot for a 0.18-0.2 that increased amont of metal gives you more if a ratio of resistance change form the board to detect, real 316 captions are working beautifully around a 0.12 but that is alot if material hence lower resistance

Another thing to consider is your preheat, punch and power settings.

For me, a dual 24g build in an RDA I'm usually looking at 70w preheat for 1.5 secinds at a 10 punch with wattage set to 55w and temp at 500°.

All of those settings play a role settings with dual coil. The temp setting higher seems to be most efficient as the board doesn't know if your running 1 coil at 0.2 or 2 coils at 0.4 ohm each in parallel. In order to compensaste for the larger mass you have to raise the temp ceiling,
With tc you are giving it two ceilings to work with - the highest power and the highest temp. So multiple combinations will work, just have to play and find what combo you like.

There is a small bit of info here, more geared to total noobs but it may be helpful

@Wingsfan0310 might be able to give you some other info

My $0.02, the wattage and temperature look pretty low. The lowest setting I'm using with dual 316L coils is 47.5W and 480F with a certain juice. The CSV file should be good to use.

Go to http://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com in the "General Discussions" do a search for "316L" there are various CSV files shown, one of them might work for you better. I downloaded a file from there, in order to use my Crown in TC, and it's working great. Here's one of the many threads http://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/post/ss316l-help-7782022?highlight=316l&trail=15

Exactly I found the file there http://www.filedropper.com/dna200-ud-ss316ldjaquithv4
This is the same CSV which I am using now.
Thanks a lot for your help bro

Oh, another thing, in order to find the proper settings, I entered my pre-heat wattage and time, general wattage and temperature, uploaded it to the mod. Then, with the mod still connected to Escribe, I utilized the "Device Monitor", taking a drag, and looking at the temperature curve. I played around with the settings, until the curve was in a more constant vicinity of the set temperature.

May you please share a snapshot of your monitor? I will help me to understand I am in right path

This is the file I'm using for my Crown 0.5 Ohm coils

The profile, which I just re-adjusted, due to having ran a calibration on the mod's internal resistance, and never did adjust the profile.

The device monitor, red curves only, for set temperature and the actual temperature (red going from the bottom to the top, which is the one you need to adjust accordingly).

I hope that helps!

@Neunerball thanks a lot bro, assuming now I am on 0.12 ohm which is lower than 0.5, power on 60W is ok?
Whatever settings work for you, are the correct settings. It's a try and error approach, in order to find these settings. I can only give you advice on how I found MY settings. However, I think, you're on the right track!
