Sometimes you make me feel dumb.
I can barely wrap my head around simple coil building concepts, while you go digging into the physics of different wires.Don't stop though, I'm hopeful that eventually some of it will start to rub off on me.

OK, I have to ask. Everyone is always saying that the threads on this, that, or the other are like butter. What is wrong with you people? I've tried licking the threads on some of my devices and they are definitely not like butter.
I think I posted that I've been using the shorter tank ring of my new Achilles 2, with the base and cap from the old Achilles -- and I was flat-out amazed at how smooth the threads are on the *authentic* tank ring, compared to the tank rings of the clones. Even though I'm still using clone base and cap, I STILL get the benefit of the authentic's smoother threads. I never thought there was anything wrong with the clones' threads, they worked, but the smoothness is really nice.

This seems to be the day for random. In light of receiving so many new flavors, I decided I needed to take EVERY flavor bottle off my 2-tier carousel and wipe that sucker down. Mission accomplished, but I'm not sure that the point, to reduce or remove the smell of so much concentrated flavoring, was really served; it still smells pretty strong in there, and now my hands smell like that too, despite rinsing off and wiping down every bottle. 
And I'd love to know how I managed to accrue so many flavors for which I have absolutely zero use. Trial and error I guess, and thank god flavors don't cost a lot.
Now I have about half a liter of nicotine to get bottled in glass and put into the freezer. Then 2 coils to make and mount. Sometime, I'm sure the peanut gallery (my husband) will be agitating for dinner.

I either get screwed or totally showered with gifts in May, considering that my b-day is the 22nd, about 2 wks after Mother's day. Of course, the kid's b-day is also in May, the 19th, so I end up sharing my b-day when he's around. I had to share my b-day all thru my childhood with a friend whose b-day was the 21st... so i grow up, and give birth on the 19th.

I knew I looked like my grandmother; the facial features are apparently a very dominant set of genes, because from my grandmother all the way to my son, the resemblance is STRONG. But a couple years ago I happened to see some pics of my grandmother when she was a very young woman -- in a 1920's cloche hat -- and my god, it's downright uncanny how much I look like that woman!
