Is there a better brand of nicotine ?

I mean, I know nothing of FIY yet. But it seems after vaping for 2+ years that some nic turns out being more harsh. Is it worth ordering a different flavor and adding all the nic yourself ?

Asking this because I have no clue and would opt for a smoother brand if possible. I know nicotine can age and oxidize.

Thanks for your insight.

You'll get 20 different answers here, but Vaperstek Premium nic is so smooth, I prefer their oxidized version and still find that one pretty smooth. Lots of nic vendors out there, so I'd get small bottles to try out since you're only adding nic and not mixing. Mixing your own juice is TONS cheaper.

What strength do you use ?

I use 3 or 6 in the mornings.

Are you guys serious ? I would love a better nicotine. Some of these are rough, I thought it was just age.

I really am going to start mixing my own, for sure. What is the difference between oxidized and unox ?

There's a huge difference between different manufacturers of nicotine. Best thing is to order small sizes of several different ones and try for yourself!

Oxidized nic can have more throat hit, sometimes appears less clear, sometimes pinkish, yellow or even almost brown, which I've seen before. Honestly some nics that are clear can pack some throat hit. Of the ones I've tried (4), Vaperstek was the smoothest. There are several I haven't tried.

So say for instance this juice was too smooth, like I am vaping Carnival by Five Fold and wanted a throat hit, I could just add another 1% of oxidized and it would help this ? Sign me up if so!

That would increase the nic hit as well as throat hit. Increasing PG in your juice ratio will increase throat hit as well, but spare you the added nicotine hit.

Yeah, don't increase the nic if you want to increase your throat hit. Do as Mark suggested. Sure, a higher strength nic can give you more, but PG does a pretty good job of that itself. Just don't over nic.

I have some experimenting to do. Yes, I have already ordered a few sample size on nic. Yes I understand you have to be careful with the stuff.

Serious? Yes.
Which nic. you may like may depend on the amount of it's footprint in your juice mix you would put up with.

Or, if you enjoy 18mg or higher levels and want no TH and desire one of the cleanest available; you may be directed to try carolinaxtract. Their price may be worth it to you.

If you are finding some nics. "rough", you might also consider NN or VT (not TH). I've only mixed with 6 or so different nics., and if I was ordering today, those 2 would be my choice.

@Vape99 At those levels, TH shouldn't play a major role. I have a bottle of Carolina Xtract that's been sitting in my cabinet for nearly a year now. It's still crystal clear. Nicotine Labs remains clear as well. Xtreme, Totally Wicked Platinum Ice are just as good. But if you want to save money. Nicotine Labs would be your best best. Hope this helps, and good luck. :)
