So, I don't think anyone really knows how all these ridiculous regulations (perhaps prohibition is more apt) will actually turn out.. But I'd like to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
My current mod is the Innokin Cortex, which I absolutely love. All of its quirks just work with my uber-wonky brain. I'm not so much interested in "replacing" it, more expanding my opportunities. It also has some items of concern, such as the internal battery.
Anyway, I am trying to find a mod that will cover all bases possible. The issue is my budget and unique personal requirements. I am looking at an absolute max of $100, but preferably around $50.
I have some very serious health issues (main one being a severely broken spine that continues to break due to bone metabolism disorder), so dedicating more funds is just not possible. As it is, I will be relying on money I will hopefully be receiving for my birthday!
I would like it to be as future proofed as possible. Both for vapocalypse reasons, and so that it could still go to help someone else should I pass away. I have no issue buying used.
As a programmer & electrical engineer, I love the ability to truly customize the experience with DNA200. I thought about doing a DIY mod with the board, but its not nearly as cost effective as id like. I *really* want that tinkering ability, but it may just not be the cards I'm dealt.
I rarely find myself going over 40 watts in any build, but I'm still hoping for a mod that is capable of at least 100 watts.
At this point, I am mainly looking at the RX200s, hcigar vt133 (I think I've seen it for $99, but with batteries, etc. its a long shot), Snow Wolf, and the cheaper Vapor Flasks (love that form factor!). I'm definitely open to others though. I like the Hohm series, but I think it'd have to be used to make it feasible.
I figure that I would be happy with any of them, but given the circumstances (both personal and in the vape market), I felt it would be wise to get more input from people who have actually used one or more of these devices, as I might only get one shot to get it right.
I also need it to be sturdy and survive drops, since I can occasionally have seizures and may drop the mod. I have yet to find anyone that tests dropping it intentionally!
Sooo, first, sorry for the absolute book of a post (seriously)! I couldnt figure out how to get all that info in more efficiently..
But, if you could only have one of these devices, forevermore, which would it be? And with my personal needs considered, would you still pick the same one?
