Are the Loran Small Square Glass bottles OK for DIY?

I'm talking about the ones Found locally (to me) at the Bulkbarn (in Canada) Or i would assume at any other Bulk Food Store Elsewhere.

Some are oil based? or all?

Thanks

M.

I personally wouldn't use anything oil based, but that's me. Some people do use and like Loranns flavorings. It's my opinion that there are far better available online, though. I use FlavourArt the most, some Hangsen, some TFA and also Inawera.

Not saying that some Loranns aren't good, I've had a few myself that I picked up in the candy making section of a craft store. After trying others, I haven't touched them.

A lot of them are ok. Here is a spread sheet that you can gauge which Lorrann flavors are the best for vaping. The ones in green are the best, for vape.

Thanks!! Great Resource!! :)

I got a couple of the dram bottles for testing. I liked the watermelon at 10%. The cherry I hated, total caugh medicine, and I tried mixing some stuff with it just to finish the bottle and nothing saved it. I got a 30ml mottle of their Peach, although it doesn't really taste like peach it isnt a bad vape.

@Wabah58, have you tried FA Peach White. It's a very good authentic peach, not candy or canned peach like.

I'm not sure of the %, I haven't used it yet, just tasted it. Ask in the purevapes thread, they will know.

Not to beat a dead horse but does anyone have any evidence on either side of the argument that Loranns flavor oils (specifically Orange Oil) is safe or unsafe to vape? I have been making a juice that I love and it is so much better with that than with other oranges I have found

I personally don't know but have read that it's not good. I don't wanna try it. Have you tried Hangsen Orange or Inawera?

I can't quote sources but I remember reading that LA Orange Oil despite it being called oil is in fact safe for vaping. Going to dig around a little more and see if I can link you back to something concrete. I just remember it being bizarre cause Orange Oil to me says don't vape, then I saw it was ok...

Searching....

Edit: Nevermind, not sure where that source was.

Red = don't vape accoring to that thread.

However, here is more information on vaping essential oils. There's a lot of confusion:

Huckleberried, I have tried Inawera and I like it. It just has a different flavor profile.
Botboy141 I will check out reddit, unfortunately I asked a question in the wrong place on that other forum and have been banned for life.

lol create new account? oh wait, why would you want to do that?

the ECF link only shows that 'orange oil LA' is unsafe for vaping based on the fact it's oil based. I'm no doctor or scientist but check out that reddit post and do your own research and make an educated decision imo.

I tried that and they banned me again duplicate account. The info I got from that forum when i first started was invaluable. But at the same time there is a lot of drama. And really I asked a question about getting insurance, about product liability insurance as I am starting my own juice line. I appreciate the info but since I cannot seem to find anything that says it is as safe as other mainstream flavors I will use something else. I am awaiting tasting results from some of my customers on the one juice that I wanted to use the Loranns in but went with Inawera. If the Inawera can't do it I will have to look for something else. If there is even the slightest risk above the norm, I don't want to mess with it. Thanks for all the help to the people that responded
