Are these fake Sony VTC5 batteries?

Dear Vaping Underground users

I am sorry to bring this question as topic since I tried to ask about the same question in this topic --> http://vapingunderground.com/threads/how-to-spot-a-fake-sony-vtc5-battery.4451/ but I'm worried about whether I've bought counterfeit/faked batteries. I have attached pictures which I hope you have time to look at. I have searched the last two days and have to admit I find it very hard to figure out if these are fake or not. QR code looks detailed out and my phone can also read a code when I scan the QR, but I do not know if this is proof enough? The bottom of the batteries also looks to resemble the original. I have a doubt because the respond above stated that on the fake the gap seems almost as large as the first metal ring immediately above the gap - when I look at it it doesnt seem it is but I am still worried. Just to know I am building my first mech mod so I take the safety serious and the battery would be the most obviously thing to look at in first place.

I have already looked at that video as I mentioned in my topic I have already looked at the "common" thing you normally see on a faked VTC5. I just red somewhere that the faked ones have become better copies so most of the tutorials is kind of outdated :(

I think it is safe to say that buying these batteries at this point is, at best, quite risky. For the OP, if you are considering using these in a mech mod, I just wouldn't. Surely your personal well being is worth much more than the 10 bucks or so for a couple of legit Samsung 25Rs... No?

First of all, thanks for the great interest in answering my questions.

Let me make it clear right away, of course there is no doubt that I will never risk my health due to bad batteries - so if I was very unsure about the battery, I had of course just invisteret in some others.

The reason I really want to find out whether these are fake is due to the different reviews that have been on the battery. Most of the reviews has shown really good results and people are talking really well about the battery why I would regret it if I dind't get the chance to try out these batteries. Additionally, there are several indications that they are genuine than signs that they are fake. The reason why it got me to look at the battery is because of the QR code located on the battery which seems not to be square - The QR code is more elongated than square why I was suspicious of the batteries.

I have used the Date Lookup Tool and it says the production date is Fri Nov 06 2015.

I just got this answer from the seller

"Yes. I can confirm these are original Sony batteries. Our batteries import from Keeppower. They are trusted battery supplier. Thanks"
