Is the tank made of plastic? If so is it possible that it cracked down near the bottom? Being top fill, top airflow seems unlikely to be leaking through air vents.

Thank you for replying.. the tank is glass, its a cl tank and its all in one device, its suppost to be leak proof. I believe the seals inside bottom of tank is not sealing correctly therefore leaking and causing the battery to fry. Its such a bummer, i only had it for a mnth.. makers of the cubis tank. Same kind.

I wasn't sure if the tank was glass or plastic on that one, I know it's an all in one. It 'should' be sealed, so if it's leaking I'm not sure there's anything you can do to repair it. Any chance it's still under warranty? Hopefully Joyetech will fix it for you. Especially if there's any chance that it's a safety issue such as juice frying the board that offers the protection features and potentially allowing the battery pack to short. Not saying that's what will happen but it's one angle of approach where Joyetech may be a bit more concerned and perhaps more likely to help you out. Obviously safety is a serious concern.

I bought it on ebay. The seller does accept exchages within 30 days, which it is just under that. Crossing my fingers that i can exchange it for another. I did hear back from joyetech rep. They said it is very rare that happened. So not many have had issues like me. Thnk you for your suggestions, im gonna cross my fingers. I will say ive been vaping for over 5 years and i havnt had an issue like this, i guess i have been very lucky. Still love the egrip 2. And hoping to resolve this matter. Thnks again for replying

Well that's the main problem with internal non replaceable tank systems, if the tank cracks the mod is toast.

Totally understand.. the tank isnt cracked. I believe its the sealant around the connection inside the tank thats faulty. It wont hold eliquid. Keeps draining thru inside of mod and out the vent. Sometimes lime every 2 days it tries to turn on. And u think its gonna work than boom. The moment u hit the fire button or plug the charger in it dies. Still prob isnt dry completely. But still if u cant put eliquid in the tank the mod is useless unless u use the tank adapter that came with it. To use any tank on top.. which is really cool addition they made.. but cant use it cause the battery will just glitch out. Im going to return it and prob just buy a different mod lime cubiod mini. Till they have a updated version perhaps. Idk.. thanks for reply

I would contact the seller and return, no way you should be having these problems! I have the egrip oled that when I don't wick the RBA base correctly it leaks, but I purchased the CS base(old style) and can use eLeaf gsair coils in it if I don't want to mess around with the RBA base.
Kanger just came out with the Cupti which is similar to the egrip and the nebox, maybe check that out too! There is a vendor here who sells the VU and looks very nice!

Thank you for the reply!!! I forgot to update. I did return to Egrip 2 back to seller and did receive a refund!!. I decided to wait on repurchasing another Egrip till maybe later when they have possibly revised it.. or make a better one.. Instead I purchased a Cuboid mini, going to give that a go.. I am also considering the Kanger Cupti, looks great.. some good reviews out there, some bad. Like the pressure flooding the tank etc. But it does look great. Plus the rba option... thank you for all the support and feedback, for helping me..

So glad that you returned that egrip2 back to the seller and got a refund, hope you have much better luck with the Cuboid mini! Have not seen any reviews on the Cupti yet, too new to know any faults, like the egrip2. I love those types for size and looks, but if it malfunctions what good is it, right?

Sorry to say this but the Cuboid Mini can develop bad spitback issues. They can be resolved on a daily basis, but too much hassle for me.

I was going to write back and tell you that when you type into you tube cuboid mini spitback there are a few videos explaining how to try and remedy that issue. Over filling juice or not making sure the coil is seated properly also flooded coil, people in the comments said that the included drip tip that had a fin inside worked to help this issue.
When you get a new device, watch some reviews on you tube, search for the trouble shooting too, and also read comments, You Tube can be a big help.
When I first got my Kanger Dripbox, I thought I had made a huge mistake, but learned how to do lung hits and calm down the severe spit back, and now I am happy with it! Thanks to the FDA I needed something that I could rebuild and had external batteries- my next purchase is going to be the eLeaf PICO-
I can use my eLeaf GSAir tanks and coils which I have stock piled with that, I did not purchase with the Melo tank kit, I purchased the PICO only.
I have Innokin iTastes 3.0 vv/vw I use with Kanger Evod 2 glass tanks, I have 2 eLeaf iStick 20's with original GSAir tanks( have used for a year and a half)
I recently started using the Joyetech eGrip OLED (3 months) I purchased 2 (1 is stored away) found out that I needed the CS base and could use my gsair coils, works great, RBA base, not so much, it will leak! Also 3 months ago I purchased the Kanger Dripbox- I really like it now, but that is a lung hit device only! I like to be able to dry burn the coil and rewick!
I have been trying to make sure that I have tanks that use cheap and easy to get coils, and that the majority take the same coils.
Also trying to get a couple external battery devices into my stash too like the PICO, my hubby has this and loves it, so I am ordering myself one this weekend!
Vaping Dragon, how long have you been vaping? I started in November 2014 and use very simple devices and have remained cigarette free. I have a friend that only uses MIG cig and she swears by them, she has been vaping for 2 1/2 years..
If you like the all in one, the PLATO looks interesting too!
I had my eye on the Sigelei mini book complete kit for $21.99- but trying to find coils for it look hard, and I don't know if any other coils are compatible. I guess I could still use a different tank , like the gsair, but what about a rebuilable coil? Not sure if I will purchase?
