New purchase ques?

I have a pico so nothing fancy but looking for something to give more flavor. Should I buy a new tank or a new mod and tank? Wish I could shop Internet but my wife would shoot me if I used a card to pick up something again. Got cash and went to look yesterday but a rx200 was 85. No tank or anything comes with it! That's just retarded to charge that much! I guess there are other people like me out there that will drop the money on something just to avoid the spouse interference.

Sigh

85 bucks and they are charging 100 for a cuboid!!

The pico really has nothing to do with flavor, assuming you have enough wattage (which should be fine for most people - I use mine at 60 watts). If you want better flavor consider a different tank (are you using the one that came with the Pico)? I'm using an Aspire Cleito on my Pico, and the flavor is very good.

And, yes, $85 for an RX200 is nuts!

I'm using the kanger subtank mini and the melo 3 interchangably. Both are ok but when I crank up the wattage, it tastes horrible so I'm sure it's what is known as dry hits. Maybe. I should look at a tank instead

That coil is only rated up to 30 watts in power mode only. You want to wake up the STM get some Atom G claptons. Also, try some of the TC coils like the ni200.

Ok, I have one of the Clapton coils that I'm gonna try when this one goes bad. The new tank will let me switch flavors easier.

my suggestions
1. use the cash to buy a visa gift card
2. use visa gift card online
3. if im correct the pico can go to 75w - if so get the orginal crown tank NOT THE crown II or the rafaele or any of that stuff...just a crown super easy to fill
coils are great both the .25 and .5 and the ni200- i cant remember where but I know I saw the crown going for like $16 online

problems all solved

The visa gift card is a great idea! I had never thought of that! Hopefully I'll be content with the clieto but if not I'll use your idea! Thanks!!

a 75w TC mod will run almost anything you can throw at it. . The only time one TRULY needs more then 75w is with monstrous handmade coils. Or some of the crazy prebuilt coils you can get with the Smok TFV4 and TFV8 tanks and Im sure theres a couple other prebuilt coils that can handle or demand more then 75w. But I run SS fused claptons in dual coil at about 50-60w all day and the flavor is perfect for me. The main reason you see all these 100,150,200,213 watt mods is 2 fold
These 100+ mods are all 2 or 3 cell batteries which means you have to switch your batterie sout a lot less then a single battery mod which all max out due to power available at 80ish watts
so if you are going to make a mod that holds 2 or 3 batteries its going to be able to supple 150-200+ watts. SO why not just make them so they can do that. DO many people even really use their devices at 200w. Im sure some have for shits and giggles, but I doubt many if any people run at 200 w all day long.

So a 75w mod is actually a great mod. I have 1 in my rotation. Its the IPV d2 it only does 75w and can do anything i need it to do. AN dit gets used EVERY DAY

The other reason you see so many of them is its just marketing. "Our mod does 150w" "yeah well ours does 151w" "So our mod does 175w" etc etc

SO if your happy with your picio...put your money into a tank The tank and coils are what make flavor oh and good juice

The crown has been the default best all around tank with prebuilt coils. Some like this one better, or that one better. But I feel you cant go wrong with a crown.
ecig.com usually has great prices on the coils. Usually $8 or less for a 4 pack

Great info! That's the stuff I've been looking for! Glad I read it before spending a crap ton on something else I don't need. Lord knows I spent enough already on misc crap I don't need.

Next purchase is the crown! Hopefully I'll be happy with the clieto so I can focus on juices. Thanks again man! That's great info!

I use both the crown and the clieto. I love my Crowns, but they do need at least 60 watts to perform properly, and quite honestly I'm not sure the flavor is any better than the Cleito... and I can run the Cleito 0.4 coils at 40 watts, but the Crown coils are best at 60 watts and the 0.25ohm coil.

Good info! Just thru the Adam Clapton cool in the kanger and it's much better! I guess I've been using crappy coils this whole time. I just ordered some new occ coils the other day too! Oh well!

I love my Pico I have 8 mods some 200watts and some $ 200.00 but I mostly use my Pico with an RDA. I also have 7 tanks and could never find one I liked the flavor out of compared to dripping.

now while amadad is absolutely correct. the .25 coil for the crown need at least 60 watts
i used to run them closer to 70
the .5 perform well in the 50-55 range and I and this is only 1 mans opinion think they taste just as good as the .25 coils

REGARDLESS the 75w pico can power both coils nicely

That's cool! The pico lives to see another day! The size is great! I'll pick up another one. I'm hoping my wellness check at work gets delayed so I don't have to take a break. I'm just now getting into all this!

The pico really is my favorite little mod - I take it everywhere! I would use it more at home, but I go through the single battery too quickly :)

Yea, I just picked up 3 lg batteries to go with my 3 25r batteries. Hoping the lg will keep me from compulsive about charging

I always buy coils and find a few min later that I should've waited. I just bought some of the oem coils online maybe 10 min ago. :)

Ok, I'm done spending money today. Couldn't pass those up for 5 for a pack. I paid $7 for the one I bought to try in my kanger.

You'll like the cleito.
You can also get a larger glass for it so it'll hold 5ml at sweet-vapes for about $3.25 or something.
Or you can get an acrylic bubble tank for it.
I have 3 and they hold between 7 and 8ml.
Been pretty happy with them.

I have the glass ones that hold 5ml,mainly because the RBA section is so huge (but excellent)!
