I don't think it's a matter of it working well or kinda working. From the test we have seen TC simply does not work on the 213. I thought the same about mine until I tried a cotton burn test for myself and saw the test demonstrated in the videos linked above.

I own a Sig 213 and it works well in TC they way I use it. No fancy coils just single wire 316L spaced. I use the SS316 preset instead of the TCR because I don't like the idea of founding the numbers up or down. You shouldn't have to do that. I use this mod every day . the battery life is excellent. The misfires are annoying and have me wondering when it just decides to not fire at all. I do like the mod, again I use it every day ,all day but it's in the back of my head how reliable is this device? When will it fail? Could the TC be better? After every thing we have found out about this device , the bad reviews ,the good reviews I have to ask my self , if I didn't own this already would I be buying it now? The answers is no. I have just ordered my first DNA device.

Once you get the DNA you'll realize what real TC is. After using the DNA you will see how bad the 213 is at TC. Not only does it not do tc accurately but with some metals it could very well be dangerous. You couldn't get me to run nickel on that mod.

I got my first DNA because of the disappointment of my 213. Next week or so I will have 4.

As for the guy talking about Misfires it is actually pretty predictable there. As far as I know mine and everyone else's that has experienced misfires it only misfires at 13 seconds from last fire, or the exact moment the screen goes off.

Another the 'TC is okay'. Seriously, it's not. You only have to do a dry burn test to see it does not work. An experienced vapor may be able to sense when the coil is getting dry but the mod certainly does not. I use my Sig a lot too but only in power mode with my Phenotype L. I'm not trrying to restart the arguments. But I tested the TC - it does not work.

Why does every discussion have to include DNAs? We know its a good chip set. It is not the only good chip set. I own a grand total of one DNA among my 30 or so mods. I'm about to trade for a second because I have too many HexOhms (three). Is a DNA better than my SX Q or HexOhm. Is it batter than the G2? No. It's different. The OP did not include an option for a DNA in his question. He is asking if the IPV or Sig is more reliable.

As I stated on my last post knowing what I know now about the Sig 213 I would not have bought it. I didn't give an opinion on the IPV because I don't own one. I mentioned I that I ordered a DNA simply because that's the direction I went. As far as the OP's question , I think I gave an honest opinion on my experience with the 213.

I guess mine is special, because the TC works just fine. To each their own I guess. I have been vaping a 0.38ohm coil for the last 4 hours and it has never changed from 0.38ohms!

P.S. Probably not a good idea to try and tell someone how their mod works when you do not have their mod.

I had the piece of crap. It does not do TC. Luckily, I was able to return it for store credit.
Same heat and amount of vapor at 200 or 530, not my idea of TC.
Yeah, I watched the incoherent video 'explaining' the TC, I loaded TFR values into it, I used their 5 digit precision TCR values in the 4 digit precision mod.
Utter crap and back it went.

He said it was the 330 and my guess is the V2. It would make sense. It's the biggest and new chip offered to other hardware companies by Yihi. It's also the same chip the IPV5 uses.

i vape my sig213 mostly on power mode and on TC SS316. i've had it pretty much since they came out. it may not work as far as cotton burn tests and all that shit. all i know is that it produces awesome vape quality in power mode and TC SS316 mode for me. i don't need numbers and charts to tell me this. it works for my needs and it's still my favorite mod to date.

i've got other mods where the TC does work, but they just collect dust. i like the size/form factor of the sig213. the IPV6 does look very promising tho and i'm curious to see how it performs and curious to see how real pictures of the device look compared to the lame renderings.

The whole bit about using pre-orders and pre-sales to use the public as guinea pigs is nothing new. I prefer to wait and see how things pan out as well, talk is cheap.

Pc games have been doing that to people for years and they can't wait. They rush and pay $50-60 to get the early release for an awesome looking product, some even upgrade their systems with $1000's worth of hardware hoping to get a dreamy experience. Then the game is released and runs like a total turd, receives numerous updates and still runs like crap because it was overhyped and didn't deliver. Of course then there's a bunch of buyer's remorse and people assuming the hardware they bought is junk because the unicorn they chased as a beta pre-release fell flat.

Maybe I'm too skeptical or cynical but I want proof before parting with my money. If a company is so sure they'll deliver then they shouldn't have a problem proving it and waiting for my money. Obviously no issue selling something if it's that fantastic. Instead they keep pulling a 'wimpy' on everyone insisting they'll pay us back with the product if we just fork over the money today.
